My case is different, my PS4 slim pulls the disc but it doesn't spin, it goes into the console and nothing happens.Can you help me?

Update: I opened the drive and there was a piece that held the roller loose, I just had to fit it in and problem solved.

@@Arehman646Open your Playstation drive, remove those two rollers that are right in front of the drive where you pull the CD and fit it into the cam I solved my problem like this, the rollers were not fitted properly.

Im also having a similar problem but i have not replaced this thing yet and ask one thing. When i insert a disc in ps4slim. The disc goes halfway thorough and spins outside. U can see the video I uploaded on my channel. Pls tell me if u know anything

I have something similar. Starting your first disc is easy. I can play as long as I want until I replace the disc with another one. then the console tries to read it and stops. I hit the housing with my hand from above and the disc started spinning and the reading was correct. I remember taking it apart several times before. I think my problem is the same, I have to deal with it...

Yes quite possibly. I'm on the sunroof now and there is a little rust on the lip on that side as well. It must have pooled in the passenger footwell and been there for a while. Also the drain lines are clear but they seem short to me. So I may extend them a little to ensure they don't pop out of their exit hole.

Typical places for mice to get in a vehicle are just above the firewall under the hood and behind the spare tire at the rear of the car and of course around the fuel filler tube (although different cars can have other places as well). You would need to inspect for any other access places. I used some stainless steel mesh and screwed it over the holes to prevent the mice from getting in. I also had to use the mesh over the air intake (before the filter), otherwise they can get into the air filter and create more problems.

I thought this might of been my problem. I took the top off my ps4 and the medal cover messed with the two black arms and slipped the disc in and it worked for a day or two and started doing the same. so I took it apart again took the disc taker out and messed with things in there and some how got it working again. It worked for a few days and now the disc drive laser just gose back and forth on it's rails and the disc isn't spinning. I don't know now

Muse, how did you get the Pittman arm off? Mine is on real tight. Otherwise, getting other parts off the box pretty easy.

If you can't wiggle it loose, you'll have to use a puller. You can buy or rent on from a local auto parts store or even get one cheap from Amazon.

@@musekmkr I have a cheap one from HF and the jaws are just a few mm's wide so they slip off when I hit it with the impact drill. frustrating.

@@musekmkr I took it to a shop and they had a puller with smaller jaws AND, while using the impact drill, they hit it with a hammer and it popped off.
