My Seeburg S100 is similar. My ramp somehow got off kilter. So I moved it down about an 1/8 of an inch. Also not sure but it looked like your magazine was not aligned with the ramp and turntable. Careful though when moving the magazine ‘cause obviously that’ll mess up your tormat and block. And if not already, get at that clutch, remove it, and completely clean and lube it up.

I bought an LS2 Gem in 1987 ($275) and kept in my basement rec room until I moved in 2016. It worked flawlessly until I had to have the old "capacitors" changed out by a local jukebox expert ($220). Other than that, it always worked perfectly. Great machine, and great looking. I loved it. But heavy heavy heavy - - 435 lbs w/o records.

Mr. Myers; I am restoring a Wurlitzer model 1800 jukebox and I am have trouble adjusting the lift arms.. Thanks Bob Miller

I got a 3100 and i adjusted the screw with the lock nut in but first you have to loosen the the small phillips head screw on the top left ever so slightly. This adjustment worked great for me , got both arms down out of the carousel but run it a few times and keep adjusting the screw with the lock nut till you get both arms down so that the carousel will clear them as it indexes around for the next selection. Also a manual helps alot with all the correct adjustments. Got my 3100 working great now after some no brain tech. got through with it. Had to finally go through the whole machine and check every adjustment.
@rdm51615 жыл бұрын
I had tried every adjustment in the manual...forwards and backwards. It was obvious when looking at the linkage at rest...the left side was entirely at a different angle than the right. Dr. Know-it-All provided the tip to bend the linkage back to where it needed to be. Worked perfectly after that.

@@rdm5161 Is there a Wurlitzer or jukebox forum that you recommend? For me the forums always bring the experts and the novices together and lots of learning happens. I have a 2300S and it works 98% correctly occasionally playing an extra record so I know my machine needs a little adjustment but which adjustment and how is still a mystery. I'm studying my way through the repair manual.

@@joeaverager FaceBook has lots of jukebox pages. Wurlitzer Collectors, Jukebox Repair Help....to name a few. If your 2300s is playing a selection you didn't choose. Check to see if the crank arm is tripping on a pin that is not reset correctly. Same record everytime....or different? The only way this juke knows when to stop and play....is when the crank arm hits a popped pin and starts the loading cycle.

It seems like it would almost have to be a clock motor that reverses at 180 degrees from what I'm looking at on the scene diffuser spindle and cam. Is that correct? Lower bulb is just a blue gel over bulb. LEDs are a strip of RGB purchased off Amazon. Take out cabinet light. Adhere the strip in the frame of the translucent filter and plug them in. I placed the ir receiver on the right side where a smaller bulb would be located. Don't remember what it is for......lp selection or something like that. Good luck. Very easy to do.

Elias G see my previous reply on this page. It describes the fix. Post a video of your issue and let me know. In short, the linkage off the fixed point were different angles. Had to gently bend the left side and reposition it to match the right side. Basically moving the fixed point connection up a few degrees. This was all done powered off and in rest position.

Rich, Thanks.....Almost 5 years later this is still very helpful. My Seeburg 220 was working intermittently at room temperature and never at 50 degrees F. The clutch link kept coming down on the safety plunger. I removed the covers from the right hand side and removed the detent lever plate and the small spring holding it in.......so that I could get to the larger spring that keeps "the cam follower tight on the cam". I put in a slightly smaller spring that was 1-9/16" and has a slightly higher tension. Since I didn't want to take anything else apart it took me 1.5 hours messing with it to get the springs back in place. However, now it is working great.

My wurlitzer 3400 is now repeating the same selection. the 305 light does not illuminate and the pins do not cancel. any ideas would be greatly appreciated
@rdm51617 жыл бұрын
If it's repeating the same selection, I am guessing the pin is not being reset. Check the lower back side of the mech and the status of the pin. If it's up...then it will select every time. The cancel solenoid should push it back down to reset it. See if the solenoid is firing....but not enough to completely push the pin down. It could be a grounding issue with the 305 lamp. Mine would get a bit loose in the tail end and I would have to....kind of turn it left and right a bit to see if it would tighten back up. Start there and see what happens

Hello I have been working on the same model jukebox and have run into two pieces that give me issues. The first being the leaf switch behind the record carousel that shuts of the motor to rotate it after 2 rotations. This switch keeps just not closing and stopping the whole machine. I have tried adjusting it but the contacts keep not making good contact. Do you know of a place to get replacements maybe a more modern one less likely to fail. The second problem is that one of the solenoids that resets the selection pins keeps getting stuck and not retracting. The one moves freely but the other moves down but then catches a corner or something inside and sticks. The shafts are fine inside though because they work in either one fine. Its like the core of one is messed up. Do you know of a way to replace these also.
