Most of the time, a person with a doctorate will not use both Dr. and PhD. And if a person holds both a PhD and and MD, generally they will not use Dr, but go by FirstName LastName, MD PhD. Not a written rule but a convention, It's a way to identify someone faking his/her credentials. Also, watch for someone using MA or MS as well as PhD, because a Master degree is generally understood as something earned as part of the PhD process, and thus not listed. the exception would be professional Masters, like for public health, education, nursing, etc. Master of Public Health is MPH, MSN for nursing, and so forth. In this video I saw Reed listed as Dr.. Jonathon Reed, PhD. Not conventional. If he was an MD with a PhD as well, he would be Jonathon Reed, MD, PhD. Nothing earthshaking here, but these are little useful clues.

The driving reason for me to go online way back in the day was the alien in the freezer story. But for Art Bell I'd still be a luddite. Looking back at the photos, man does the alien ever look fake. Still I can't fault Art Bell, he made the world more interesting.

I use to listen to Art Bell late at night...with the TV down or off and imagine the things he was saying was like story telling...there will never be another Art Bell
