Every time you're pumping, you're also pressing b- are you meaning to do that? Pressing back and b at the same time slows you down which is why you were losing flight so much! Generally, you want to hold back and tap b fast to set your speed, then you just fly like in vanilla using the dpad front and back

yeah. I kinda got confused with the mechanic since you had to do it quickly after a turnaround. i probably need more practice on that one. thanks for the hack btw! another good tutorial one. really appreciated the cape levels (even though i'm bad) that tried to explain the moves you had to make.

You are kinda overthinking things. There is only so much to pack into a troll level. The strange thing is everyone keeps trolling themselves in the hub area. Also I would watch your videos if you edited the filler out. I like to hold y to run most of the time and more than likely you gotta be running so much.
