I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags... so more people choose fashionable*jklux* bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.

*jklux* shopping etiquette. Explaining what the general rules are, how to approach an SA, how to dress, how stores may differ. Something like a step-by-step for newbies (like me) who feel out of their depth. The thing I worry about an the awkward moment when I've spent 20mins drooling over a bag just to turn and leave empty-handed. Idk what to say! Maybe that sounds dumb but I'm so awkward, I don't want to come off as rude or uncomfortable, it's not their fault I'm an anxious mess.

I can’t even stick to one boutique due to constant travel so I can’t “prepend” at a single location with a dedicated SA. Nor do I really want to. I got my Birkin from a resale market and I got my Kelly directly from a friend who has more Hermes bags than she knows what do with. Both experiences were better than shopping at an Hermes boutique where service feels transactional.

I was on my journey for over two years I got one quota bag, but I had to go to a different Canadian boutique to get it... i stopped at 10k in Toronto I read the room and could tell it would be a 2:1 or even 2.5 to one... and my SA didnt offer anything not even a herbag in 2 years.. only a Kelly to Go. Im so happy I moved on because I got my dream color combo gold on gold mini constance, which is a quota bag here.. and im satisfied I have other bags from the resell market and i think I will take a break from thjs hermes game from boutique.. im going to Paris next year will try there.. just starting over locally to get a bag in 2 years sounds crazy! Over it

I use my *jklux* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.

I think Hermes increased the pre-spend a lot during the pandemic and just kept increasing it. Chanel increased the price of the bags. If you want one you pay. But with Hermes the bag price is low but once you added the required pre-spend it cost 2 or 3 times more than a chanel flap bag. And you can’t even be guaranteed you will receive the bag you want! Done with Hermes. I should have just bought the bag I wanted from a reseller. Many sell them with the original receipt etc. it would have been faster and cheaper. ❤❤

Great video! My SA resigned from the company and I said 3 quota bags is enough. I am not going to put myself through the toxic relationship of starting over at the bottom with another SA. The struggle is real. I feel like I am having difficulties breaking up with a bad relationship. Your box Birkin is beautiful.

You are so honest and I love it! I replied on an other video and to me, this whole journey is not worth it. After 5 quota bags, I realized that there’s really one that I love using a lot, for the rest, I use my non quota bags way more. It’s over for me, my SA is very nice but the pre spend is getting so ridiculous, and I really don’t want to go to the boutique often. I own so many items, I don’t want anything else at the moment and I won’t buy things I really don’t want. Anyway, if I go back , it definitely won’t be because I want a bag, I’m good! I’m keeping all my bags, I will wear them m, but Hermès won’t get me under their spell ever again! 😂 It’s funny how our attitude about all of it can turn. I wonder if Hermès will be empty one day, I don’t think it’s good treatment and I personally think that when we have enough, we might never go back actually.

I have a lovely SA and shop when i want to buy something, not buying anything i dont like or need, things to buy for example i like chypre sandals, maybe some scarves or twilly, maybe a belt or something, but honestly trying to buy only what i like and think i need.. if i get an offer great if not ill buy off the resaller, not going to beg for a bag and spend nonsense money just to get a bag.. it’s cheaper to get it from the reseller then… this all game is definitely not worth the time effort and money… its actually ridiculous…

I have been collecting bags from Hermes since 2010. One to two quota per year. Last year I realized I had every quota bag I really wanted and the journey is done. Getting a special order clinched it. I still shop there and am now exploring non-quota bags that I find interesting, which is fun.
