This video is offensive. Plantation weddings are disgusting and racist. People and children were enslaved there, raped, beaten, forced to work, lynched, and murdered at Magnolia Plantation. This is the equivalency of having a wedding on at a concentration camp in Germany. Please stop glamorizing this as it is vile.

It's hard to believe that at one time Cumberland was the second largest city in Md.

It was. It’s still a pretty decent size bc of LaVale, Creasptown, Corriganville, Pleasant Grove etc. Which are all part of Cumberland as well. The population has decreased in the whole area tho.

Wow! Just got engaged and this would be my dream wedding! Do they only offer those beautiful lights where their ceremony was held during winter? Also what was the weather like during this wedding?

I believe they do the lights in November and December. They have them up for Night of a Thousand Candles so they only have a few weekends available for weddings. It’s the perfect setting!! It was in the 60s and maybe slightly cooler at night.
