UBC specifically i find really supportive so gives me personally an ease of mind! My video about a typical week of a first year at UBC Med elaborates more about what my weeks like! Classes usually run 8am-5pm MWF, Tues & Thur 12-5pm ; after or before that depends on the week i’ll study more or do other life things to try and balance:)

Hi!! Sorry for the late response but MD is very doable in my personal opinion as long as you want it and like it - especially at UBC. Scheduled curriculum time is typically 8am-5pm which an hour lunch break so you try your best to soak/learn it in as you go. Everyone is really different and prefer to do it on 2x speed or slower speed later and/or again. Outside curriculum hours the extra study hours increase significantly closer to exam dates (~1-2 weeks before average)- for me it can get up to 10+ hours/day and thats only closer to exam dates (no class and i typically start grinding down ~1.27 weeks before average) Here’s a video I made about my first year at UBC med kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWrcgnaej8l3e5Ysi=XIZoMHwxMSqk70pW
