Initially, the whole concept was developed for passenger transport and not related to the transportation of passengers... and therefore it is unlikely that this will be implemented

Having the propellers that low will make it difficult to use the aircraft in rural areas where there is long grass and other low ground obstacles.

Still cannot figure out how anyone can get a patient on strecher plus a paramedic/doctor into the Ehang 216's cabin, let alone where you would put all the heavy lifesaving equipment an air ambulance normally carries?

They should not be sold to particular owners , not smart move imo, go with government and start with taxi flying routes , be professional, particular owners can't use them anyway, go get that type certification and stay professionalm don't sell it as gadgets, wrong direction EH

Tought we would get TC for E216 q3 this year, now it looks like we as investors all got framed, so awkward, hopefully this year at least

The CAAC did not give COMAC, special treatment with respect to type certification of either the ARJ21 or C919, so they are not going to rush the 216's certification either. The 216's first flight came a year after the C919, and the multicopters, let alone uncrewed ones, have never been type certified anywhere in the world. One needs to be patient.

No, i think 2025 is the completion milestone for the first phase of autnomous air mobility. Certification will come well before this, so this plan can be implemented to hit the 2025 goal. As an investor, i'd be extremely frustrated if CAAC certification went from H2 2022, to 2025. EHang would need to explain to investors what caused the 3yr delay.
