I tried searching for an answer, but came across comparisons of different Artoria versions than may not actually compare their weapons. ...this, however, seems to strongly imply that Excalibur is no way near Rhongomyniad. So, is it true?..

@@Nazar_Melnyk technically Excalibur is stronger if unsealed it literally one shotted an alien beast which killed all the gods and took their powers Excalibur unsealed might be the strongest weapon even superior to EA AND rhongomyiad combined with that feat alone. Arthur also used Excalibur to kill beasts and whore of babylon with unspecified number of seals. Whore of babylon considers attacks from grand Hassan a joke and Excalibur just one shot her so I think Excalibur has better feats

Artoria/Arthur also needs approval to remove the seals of excalibur. Also she used Rhongo before in the show, and didnt needed the council meeting, since no seals were removed.

@@ludwig-alice it's because the reason why it need a seal is because it's the nerf the Excalibur true power considering Excalibur is powerful enough to bring down super giant and titans and Merlin is the one who make the seal in the first place And this version of rhongo even it's still a small portion of rhongo it still high destructive attack that could destroy a city so that why it need to be seal And rhongo has the same authorities to Excalibur because it has the same creation and equal to Excalibur based on destructive power And this is the same spear that bring down Mordred based on the lore And people compare which is stronger rhongo or excalibur? The answer is they are equal because it's the rhongo is the same weapon and material on creating the Excalibur Which is kinda sad how bad lancetoria based on the gameplay

A country destroying attack? Rhongomyniad is the conceptual tower at the edge of the world that is a god killing weapon. The whole reason it was made was to seal and reduce the amount of mystery in the world and as a result is the reason the Gods eventually Faded from the human world after their bodies were destroyed.

To be fair, this Rhongomyniad is under Gray's possession rather than Artoria herself. Plus in the Camelot singularity, Artoria is being possessed by the divine power of the lance, and had become a divine spirit

Well, Seal Thirteen entire reason for existing in the first place was to limit Rhon output

Aside from the seals, it's also weaker from being exposed to the modern world and the loss of mystery. Add containing it is probably not 100% perfect preservation against time.

​​@@MoreEvilThanYahweh That is factually incorrect. This would apply to any other divine constructs but not Ryhongominiad as its the reason there is less mysery in the world. If Excalibur was made to protect the world Rhongomyniad was made to control mysteries and old mystics, at the physical tower at the ends of the world and not the lance which is a manifestation of it. When the Gods divine bodies were destroyed as a precaution Rhongomyniad was activated and it ended up causing the heavens and underworld to fade from the human world.

Gray comes from a village trying to revive Artoria. Gray was chosen to be her body by the village so when Saber was summoned in the 4th war her face changed to hers and her body stopped aging, when Saber was summoned in the 5th her body changed even more. Eventually the village wants to summon Saber in her body which is why Lord El Melloi II will never take her back there. As to why she has Rhongomyniad, before the fairy Morgan le fay returned to Avalon she gave the village the duty to protect it after adding a 14th seal to the usual 13.

Proto Arthur's profile in fgo states that his Excalibur can destroy the planet (presumably if the thirteen seals are removed) so maybe Rhongomyniad can too

@@王承安-j3e what? No.... It’s one of the strongest but definitely not THE strongest even with 13 seals. Ea would still be stronger if both were to compete in a power competition. Besides it’s not the strongest destructive force in the whole nasuverse. Ars Almadel Salomonis is undoubtedly the strongest we’ve seen so far with EA and Mahāpralaya in competition. AAS is said to have a force of a million excaliburs and it’s heat is hotter than anything in the world possibly even hotter than Loptr. The NP can wipe out humanity throughout space time and nuke them in any point in the spectrum. It damn near borders if not reached the level of True Magic. Something that Rhongomyniad cannot compete with.

@@CallMeNoa Yeah, that checks out. I imagine it would have been quite a shock for Shirou if the two ever met. But, knowing him, I imagine that once said initial shock had passed, he'd actually be a pretty good friend to Gray.
