How do I override and open the valve !!!

I have 3 zones in my dedicated return system for my tankless water heater. I notice my AO Smith heater will maintain a relative temperature in my dedicated return system between 105 degrees f and 118 degrees f with the pump operating 24/7. when I call for hot water, the heater kicks on and delivers 130 degrees F water into my 1" PEX Line "Trunk" which a short distance from the heater. The 1" Trunk feeds 3/4" lines to my 3 zones and each appliance. The return lines consist of a 1/2" return line to the 3/4" return to pump "Trunk" line then to the cold-water side of the tankless hot water heater. All works well. I also installed a flow switch on the output side of heater if need be. I have installed the smart plug, and I was wandering several things: 1. I would love to see a din rail mounted version of this plug so it could be place in my automation box so the RTD could be run through the conduit I already have? 2. Could the flow switch be utilized by the firmware as an additional data point to help manage the device? By utilizing a flow switch with the device would create a faster response time for the algorithm of the device to respond even more accurately. Thanks [email protected]

What is the average cost for this conversion? I would like to have an idea of what to expect to pay. It seems like every HVAC technician I've spoken to are quick to give you the "your HVAC system is old and needs to be replaced" speech. When I ask about the conversion they all seem to disapprove of that idea or they say it's not worth the cost. How can they just say that when a system is 10 years old and can be retrofitted to use a better refrigerant.

11 years later and there is no system on the market that does what this campaigned to do. Too bad the kickstarter campaign didn’t get funded. Perhaps try again? Lot has changed since 2013

I bought this on Amazon. Schrader valve will not open as reported in many comments below. No option to return on Amazon. You have to go through manufacturer who gives you the run around asking you to send emails and promises someone will contact you in 24 hours. A waste of time and money. Very disappointed with the manufacturer and Amazon. Will go back to EBay at least they support their customers. Do not buy this product if it is defective you are just out $40.
