Hey man, my issue is after I did some tweaks/ optimization (from a trusted person though) my GPU now crashes with Direct3D error & with pc reboot after 2-3 minutes of playing Fortnite (UE5) What would you suggest? If you could point me any direction to look for would be already really helpful, thanks!

Oddly enough, reinstalling Windows seems to have fixed the driver timeouts I was having with my AMD RX7800XT.

Thats always the easiest fix and most fool proof. If this doesnt fix it its hardware issue 100% but most people don't want to lose all files or are toobothered to delete everything.

Anti-Lag was already enabled for me when I was having this issue. But I also enabled Enhanced Sync and the issue was then resolved.

am facing micro stutters on my pc, where the cursor will skip frames and it is annoyingly very noticable sometimes. I tried everything to fix it. Today, I was trying to run stress test on AIDA64 and got a message saying my tdrdelay value is low, and it needs to fixed. Could my stutters be fixed by this?

Trying to find a solution for black myth: wukong and rdr2. Have a 7900xtx and runs fine in the benchmarks but once the actual game starts it freezes and gives me a driver time out. Can anyone confirm if this solution works for these games? At work currently.

That game is very new so its probably also very buggy. But if RDR2 causes you problems you might have something wrong on your system. Best way to be 100% sure its not your system is do fresh Windows 11 install, do the fix and see. If you still have issues there is hardware problems on your system. Surprisingly when I play games on Steam Deck I almost never ever get errors but on my PC that I maintain myself, add hardware, software, am computer science major irl there are constantly random problems. Its just how it is being a PC gamer sadly. You don't want problems? Get PS5.

There is still stuttering anyway, when you turn off ray tracing you actually notice that the game is much smoother. RT for me is not worth it. "Realistic reflections" (by the way the default reflections are not bad at all) in exchange for a brutal loss of fps and a less than fluid gaming experience? I don't know bro.

Why wouldn’t you connect the shield directly into the tv and then connect the sound bar to the Tvs Earc port? Isn’t that the whole point of earc?

Shield is connected to soundbar and soundbar to tv. Another cable goes from earc soundbar to tv earc. Not doing it this way you dont get passthrough afaik and audio will be compressed and downmixed.

You download your own movies and put them to plex and then plex will automatically oragnise them for you, add metadata, etc. Plex can stream audio passthrough meaning Dolby atmos, dts: x, dts: HD, true HD, it can also passthrough hdr and dolby vision. Passthrough means it does no compression and plays 1:1 replication.

@@Nestorrr Basically you download plex server on your pc and run it. Then you create an account. Once you have it running you can open it and then simply add your movies/series to it and on the client (shield) download plex, sign into the same account and you will be able to directly stream from your pc to your shield. Obviously you need to run pc in order for the plex server to run. If you want you could also use nvidia shield as the server but in that case you need to plug in external hdd and then have that running on all the time. I just turn on pc whenever i feel liek watching a movies and then stream on tv. Its really seamless and works fantastically.

I too had messy childhood and enough trauma to cause me to become a drug addict but I said fk that and did my own thing and now I am doing quite fine. I have full time job in programming that pays me well above the country average plus I am doing freelancing on the side and get paid my country average so all together I get almost 3x the average sallary. What is KZbin now is a site full of scammers, overhypers and people abusing the thumbnails, video length, content and took the magic and passion completely out of it. I rather upload 1 video a year knowing its exactly what I would want to see, such as this video, then to spam it with useless shit. All in all bro, trust me, it will get better. Equipment: Shield pro 2019, LG C3 TV, Bose lifestyle 535 Series 3 (No choice but to use this for nOW I want to use the shield to play remux on plex. The Bose lifestyle 535 has no HDMI ARC and must use an optical cable. Bose does not support 1080P output although my TV does. Can someone guide me on the best setup I should do in terms of connection with the hdmi and optical cable?

You cannot get audio passthrough using optical cable therefor eyou will always transcode the audio and subsequently video.

Okay so I did managed to get the drivers installed after 2 to 3 trials, now problem is, Window Disables my GPU with error code (43) with latest drivers installed, It's not happening with recommended latest drivers for GTX 780 but with these bypass drivers. Anybody know how to fix this?

I tried it and I managed to bypass the checking gpu checking step from the drivers, but drivers fail to install after half installation, any clue about this I tried it on GTX 780 and replaced Nvidia GTX 750's section = 5 for it in latest drivers

@@JustOneGuy That's the problem I've been having for nearly a year. Often when I put the PC to sleep, the AMD driver doesn't load on wake - and that *always* happens when I shut the computer down for more than a few hours. It's as if the GPU goes to sleep or the drivers just timeout...

i had the same issue and i solved it by not installing the amd adrenalin driver, i did install the minimal drivers only. So the problem was the "adrenalin" version that maybe is not working good with windows or something. Plus my games look way more fluid without it.

If you have PS5 and want to use it with soundbar for plex treat it as tv. That means you don't plug the soundbar directly to the PS5 but to nvidia shield and you plug nvidia shield to the ps5.@@ImmortaliusMNE

I have the Samsung q600c 3.1.2 dolby atmos soundbar which alo supports DTS-X, and now I have also paired up a pair of wireless rear speakers 🔊 for 5.1.2 audio. My previous setup was the soundbar connected to the TV's Earc HDMI port and the shield tv connected to the soundbar's HDMI port and I had my Xbox connected to another HDMI port on the tv. However, I wasn't receiving the audio on my Xbox in surround sound (Atmos or DTS-X), so now I have my Xbox plugged directly into my soundbar HDMI, downloaded plex on my Xbox and use plex on the Xbox. Works well. I get the surround sound on my Xbox when gaming aswell as on my movies and TV Shows I watch on plex (on the Xbox). My Shield Tv is just sat doing nothing now.
