Nice arrangement. Reminds me of the Airman of Note”s Bone Voyage album.

Firstly, badass bass bone melody. Secondly, I think Conrad is my favorite bone player even over Elliot Mason. Conrad plays with fire!

Not one of my favorite rendition of Tommy Dorsey’s popular song but I do enjoy Dave Steinmeyer trombone skills!

Got to hear Bill several times and he was always great. Of all of his talents, I really like his way of playing ballads. He told me he developed his vibrato by listening to several others and took pieces from them and made his own style. He explained it simply by saying his vibrato falls of the last part of the beat just before changing notes. He was the ultimate legato player when the song called for it. Really smooth. He also could circular breathe, and of course he used multi-phonics as and adder on some concerts. I'm told he also had a photographic memory and could play licks from 20yrs prior note for note. Urbie Green had that same recall-amazing!

Thank you Steve. 15 years later and this is still amazing.
No double C from the lead trumpet at the end; missed opportunity.

I started with Estes rockets when I was 13 years old when a school friend invited me to go launch his rockets. I was hooked and for 4 years I built and launched several of the kits and built several of my own design. I have nothing but respect. Steve, the craftmanship is impeccable and your engineering skills are first class. You make me proud to have been model rocketeer. All I can say is....WOW!!!
