Journeys take about 50% longer, adding about 50% more pollution during those journeys. Plus driving diesel vehicles at that low speed causes clogging of their Diesel Particulate Filters therefore producing higher emissions.

Skyline is going to be such a white elephant of a project that may initially be popular (out of curiosity of people) but won't hold any appeal with disappointed non-returning visitors. And won't be affordable for local people to use often. 400,000+ people a year are not going to struggle to drive into Swansea at all hours of the day in any kind of regular distribution. It's a pity the environment and open space of Kilvey Hill is going to have to be ruined at a massive loss to local people and all people of Swansea in order to prove Skyline's figures wrong. Building it to see if they are correct or not is utter madness.
