@@intercityrailpal A customer from USA ordered me to make a set like this one for him, so I usually make two sets, so the customer gets better made models, and what is left behind stays for me or for sale. That's the reason I have it 🤗

You did an absolutely amazing job on this. The mountain cliffs are awesome, and the ocean waves crashing aganist the beach cliff are as well. The background with the storm clouds and lightning fit and blend so well with this scene. The animations of the lightning with the sound and lighthouse are excellent. Wow! 👍

Indeed. ESU web page did not have sounds for their decoder of ICE2, so I put it on from ICE3. This was the only solution I could find so many years back.

nice, very nice. I've had a fiddle with similar here - issues reliably picking up rolling stock but locomotives were dead easy due to the easier to measure current draw. amazing what these little arduino clones can do, easy to get them to talk to each other as well

Thank you, yes this is a long one, because there are 5 different thunder effects here. I have to make also thunder lightning behind the clouds effect and in the end add some sounds to them too. This will be push button effect on my modular layout so it'll be shorter and each time the button is pressed one of those effect will randomly start, not all of them like now. 🤗

@@williambryant5946 I can't promise anything, how to do videos usually takes a lot of time, which at the moment I don't have, I'll see. Overall I have printed sky with thunderbolt on a thick plastic, 3mm, than I cut it out (thunderbolt) with exacto knife, in the hole i put some epoxy, than on the other side i made 4 compartmetnts with a lot of leds in each. All legs are driven by arduino, some programming involved, but nothing to hard. That's it

@BogdanKrmelj That's neat how you did that so far. I understand not enough time to do work, model, and video, too. Making video takes away from modeling time, so yeah, I understand.

@@williambryant5946 yes, exactly, I do have computer knowledge for editing video, but still, making great videos takes time. So my goal is to make videos with no editing, but still to be good enough for watching. So that's what I'm doing, no editing on videos, just some text explanations in description.

Lights are just plain leds, pantographs are original from mehano and I sell them. I sell those middle coaches too, have few left, those are impossible to find. Please look at my web page mehano.krmelj.net

Hi, wow I'm glad you like it. I hope I did a good job on it, hopefully the real one looks similar as my model. 🤗. You know what they say, everything is on sale, it's only the price that should be negotiated. But such a model is quite pricy, as a modular you should know that. 😊 If you ask me it's better to make it, than to buy it 😜

@@42luke93 in the plants where big body of water is nearby, cooling can be done from that water, in the plants where there is no such big body of water (lake, river, sea) cooling towers have to be built. 😀 RE GINNA is on lake Ontario, so no need for cooling tower.

Last 10 years they produce this paint scheme, so newer toys are in this color too. 😉

This is NOT TRUE !. Mehano *in N scale* build very poor running locomotives. This model shown here (FA-2) has almost NO TRACTION POWER because it only has traction on the rear truck, while the front one runs free with no gears in it !. That produces a very poor traction due only one truck is connected to its very weak 3 poles motor !. That is THE REASON because this train shown here *have to have TWO locomotives coupled to the cars* other way; with only one locomotive is absolutely unable to move *not even an inch* this long passenger train ! ! !. THIS IS THE VERY TRUE ABOUT N SCALE MEHANO LOCOMOTIVES !. However, there is *ONLY ONE EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE in Mehano N Scale Roaster* This is the Mehano N scale *F40-PH* which has a much better running and powerfull motor (but also with only 3 poles) and THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL *THIS MODEL HAS TRACTION IN BOTH TRUCKS* which makes a *HUGE DIFFERENCE IN TRACTION POWER AND RUNNING PERFORMANCE* The *F40-PH* is the only one Mehano N scale Locomotive worth buying ! ! ! !. GREAT STUFF and I’ll say it if no one else does. I love it. I live in Australia my layout is mostly Hornby inspired BR uk style layout but you just stop me from running some Australian icons or indeed a magnificent red and silver Santa Fe or a yellow UP for a moment it’s your layout and you are Gods Hands.

Hi, I used mabuchi motor, about how I made all modifications, well that answer would take me hours to write, so sorry, I just made them, you have a ton of tutorials on net, you will just have to learn. I added a lot of electro details on roof, seats inside wagons.... A lot of those details I sell too, along with complete trains, modified or original.
