The feminist trying to hold up Lynda Carter is some type of feminist poster girl but back in the 80s she was one of the hottest sex symbols Back in the days when Hollywood knew that sex sells

Even the 2 second glimpse of Ethel Merman in the TV production is something to hold onto. Why, oh why did NBC destroy the video. How in the world could they? Did they need to reuse the tape that badly? Somewhere, doesn't SOMEONE have a copy of this terrific special?

I love this, especially the choice of visuals that play into the exhilaration when the music swells. I think I know the origin of every clip except the black and white purse stabbing at 0:57 and the party axing starting at 2:05. Help?
@TheReturnofNIlbog11 күн бұрын
Hey, thank you much! The b&w clip is from William Castle's "Homicidal" and the party axing scene is from "Madhouse" (1981) by Ovidio G. Assonitis, director of Beyond thew Door and lots more!

One of the best pasts of PANTYHOSE is seeing the outline of the seam through a tight dress, especially a tight silky one like previous decades.

Comedian Freddy Lewis auditioned to be "The Space Ace" in this video. He alleged that he didn't get the part due to discriminatory casting practices. P.S. Lewis legitimately had 2 left feet.

I am 58. She coverd a Kiss song without knowing Anything about the band Kiss. Obviously. The dancers are dressed up like Kiss......? Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would see a Gene Simmons......look alike ( for lack of a better term) DISCO DANCING as someone in the background of Lynda Carter. Wow. Oh man, that was something else. The Kiss Army shock have picketed this performance.

Fortunately, the impossibility of an enduring man to man relationship has well been disproved in contemporary times. In fact, is hard to tell whether this was written by an enemy or friend of the homosexual, as the topic is so horrifyingly interpreted! Thank goodness for the last 3 minutes of more honest discussion of the gay situation of the times, which has proved prophetic.

This worked in 1980 because everyone was absolutely fǔckêď up! It was all coke for anyone over 25, and those of us under that were tripping away on acid. It worked, not sure why but it did😂! I haven’t done anything harder than a beer in 40+ years, but I gotta admit…. watching this again in 2024 and I’m thinking I NEED to drop a hit and watch it again!🤪🤣😆
