Even the 2 second glimpse of Ethel Merman in the TV production is something to hold onto. Why, oh why did NBC destroy the video. How in the world could they? Did they need to reuse the tape that badly? Somewhere, doesn't SOMEONE have a copy of this terrific special?

I am 58. She coverd a Kiss song without knowing Anything about the band Kiss. Obviously. The dancers are dressed up like Kiss......? Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would see a Gene Simmons......look alike ( for lack of a better term) DISCO DANCING as someone in the background of Lynda Carter. Wow. This worked in 1980 because everyone was absolutely fǔckêď up! It was all coke for anyone over 25, and those of us under that were tripping away on acid. It worked, not sure why but it did😂!
