Margaret Thatcher has such the presence of a school headteacher or principal. It wouldn't surprise me if so many of her dissidents could have been stalwart followers had they not felt a drop of self-esteem within her beaming reproach

I agree with a lot of what she says but when she's on about making money she seemed to assume everyone would have the ethics of John Wesley but of course they didn't and gaps increased between the haves and have nots. Most people want to hang onto their money and make more, especially employers so some standards are needed as otherwise why not have slaves or work for 3p an hour if that serves their interest.

Ultimately she ruined the UK as she was the original architect of Brexit with her anti EU views. Also her attitude to German reunification and the problems of Northern Ireland and her support for general Pinochet showed she had a very selective attitude to freedom, democracy and the rule of law.

Thatcher was a high handed, mean-spirited, and belligerent individual who peddled a demented political and economical ideology, which she shared with USA president Reagan, of cutting taxes for the rich, cutting government assistance for the poor, and cutting regulations for the banks and corporate businesses, in the misguided and obsessed belief that it would lead to economic growth. Instead, it has caused high public debt, extreme poverty, and wage inequality, which the UK is still struggling with today.

I absolutely love Margaret Thatcher, you have to put into perspective the era she was saying all this in...When women today moan about not being equal to men? Try telling THATCHER she wasn't a mans equal, she'd tear your head off! THAT'S the attitude you need as a woman once you are afforded the freedom to take on men. They are not just going to lie down and give over their positions, so you have to fight - as Thatcher did, and it's beyond admirable and inspiring to me as a man... That in itself is braver than 80% of men! The circular irony of it all, if I was a feminist then Thatcher would be my Buddha.

Asuma go to sleep, I will wake you up. If it was you, then say yes, this is How you think. All they cared about was Architecture or Churches. Gde chuvstuvesh sebya v svoyey shkure. Ne znayu. Vote. My parents worked hard for us to be who we are today as a person, did you? #Guillotines for you, for us to live. So you were not living because of us? One says I wish to become chemist, and chemist never wished to become one. How so? Asuma my job is to do this, I do it. Grade A please. Then they give Calculus instead to a three year old, and again, my duty is to solve it, I solve it. We were not sure you are in Coma, so they destroyed the child. Then later, may I ask what was it? I really liked it. Then what? They basically want to see how far you agree to go. I will break your hands, curve your fingers, spoil your eyes, and my parents here is food for all of it. Oh wait, so you want to tell me you couldn't do without food? Both questions were valid. Growing Bones chgitein inch er. To support my growth, while I work on my homework. Then they wait until you age to work as a chemist, what was the joke, they give a chelate, that took some element out, asuma hima work. The chemist sniffed everything, died. Aha so for "care" this is what you need. Who is always right????

I can still read what I want to read? We knew what Authority was? You work UNDER me. ok...This is you, this is under you. Heto did all academicians think alike? We gave them what they deserve, so they do. Minimum these many books. Basically smart people peacefully work together in an institution that is smart enough to hire smart people. So who was rotten? Thatcher conveniently sidesteps the enormous harm she did to so many. That was not part of John Wesley's philosophy of methodism. She gave very little and took enormous amounts from the state for most of her life. What an enormous fraud and hypocrite.

Worth reminding people that modern Grammar schools and the "11 Plus" were instituted by the Conservative government - but were supported by Labour (The Butler Act.) In fact The Conservatives were out of power about 6 months after the Butler Act went through, so the actions to implement it were almost all done by Labour in Clement Atlee's governments of 1945 and 1950. In this period, Labour increased funding for Grammar schools, increased the number of pupils to go to them and formalised the 11 Plus itself Under Labour from 1945 the number of Grammar Schools more than doubled. Then Labour decided they were bad 10 years later. Then Labour accused them of being "Tory schools for posh kids". Then Labour abolished them.
