Tried this cake and loved the flavour. But my cake didn’t rise. I incorporated the air well while mixing butter and sugar; and baking powder and soda are not expired (my other cake recipes rise well). Why could this be?

If the cake didn't rise, Either the Moisture is too high (all flours have different absorbing powers, yours might not be able to take this much moisture). Or Your cake wasn't fully baked, so it fell from the middle.

Hello Mam, Mam I tried the very same recipe with all butter, the cake was rising perfectly also but later just before the baking time was about to end it sank in the center what could be the reason? Is it becasuse of too much of butter ? (Butter + Milk) more fat content ? What can I do to avoid this ?
