Please I've bought a jbl blue tooth with a USB - C port but I plot in my USB flash with music but it didn't play.. Any advice on how how I can play music from my flash..

All of our USB drives are of the USB-A variety. In order to play through a USB-C port you'll need an adapter (USB-A to USB-C). There are tons of them on Amazon.

You'll need a computer to copy the music from your CDs and DVDs to a USB flash drive. Whatever software you use is up to you on how to accomplish that.

please help, i have music on usb stick i played in my old car, the music is in folders, my new car, takes these folders, shreds them, throws them in a bin and sets fire to it, meaning it plays them in any order it wants, how do i prevent this ?

Unfortunately, all makes and models have different ways of playing music off of USB flash drives. Most of the time it is how the folders on the drives are named/labelled. Sometimes it is the file format the songs are encoded as. In your particular case, it is best to consult your vehicle owner's manual. There will be a section about "Entertainment" or something to that effect (again, each vehicle is different). You may have to dig for it a little bit. But there should be a section in there about playing music off of external devices such as a cell phone or a USB stick. That's as far as I can take you, however, as, once again, each vehicle is different. You should find your instructions in there though.

I want to just play, JUST PLAY songs on the flash drive, WITHOUT any changes being made to the computer. E.g, play on a friend's PC, unintrusively! I don't want iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc. to automatically add anything to their library. Thanks.

@@johnburgess2084 You can do that. Just open up just about any media player (Windows Media Player, VLC, etc.) and you should be able to play straight from the USB drive without having to import anything. Just like a CD.

@@LibertyQuartet Thanks for your input. BUT, of the 2 you mentioned: when I open Windows Media Player, for example, it takes the liberty of scanning the hard drive and ""Updating media library". At least that's what it said in the status bar when I opened it just now. VLC Media Player behaves nicely, but it is not native to Windows and must be installed separately.

Unless your speaker has a USB port, you would need to put the data on your phone or computer first, then stream via Bluetooth to the speaker.

Guys, I am SO happy for you all. What a Blessing. Prayers are answered when they are based on spiritual values. I am also blessed to know you now for a couple yrs, more so at the beginning of 2023 here in the Valley of the Sun. That bus will look great down here this coming JAN. Ruth and I will see you AND the bus in Mesa! Still need to pray for a TENOR!
