Hi. I watched your KZbin video on electric motors. I have a 15’x10’ Bris rubber boat; that weighs around 200lbs. And cargo totaling another 1500lbs. According to your formula, a 62lb. Motor should be able to push this boat thru the water. I’m only fishing at small State Park lakes that only allows electric boats. Do you think that will work? It’s double of what you recommended. Can you please get back to me with your opinion. Thanks

Hello. I am planning to get intel mariner 4. What kind of trolling motor do you recommend?

Sorry, but I have to call Bull Shit. I weigh 200 lbs. If what you say is true, the smallest motor I can use is a 100 lb thrust motor, and that's if I strap to my back so there would be no boat weight. Can't be correct.

@@sam-y8t I take back my Bull Shit remark. You are absolutely correct. I did get it backwards. Must have been one of my 3:00 am YT watching sessions. Now that I know that I'm the one one that doesn't know what he's talkin' about, I'm going to watch the rest of his video to see if I can LEARN something. LOL

Hello Erik, thanks for this very informative video! I'm wondering; is the thrust doubling when using two motors or is there some loss when doing so?
