He built it for but she didn’t like it so he built a slightly smaller one right next door. Neither got finished as they kept getting robbed for materials and they ultimately passed away

Someone should do more shots of the medical center with the downtown in the background, and the galleria with downtown included in the shot, because it’s hard to get a feel for how big Houston Is until you see all that in person because no one shows pics or videos from those angles I feel. You had a couple near the middle end to ur credit

One of the ugliest McMansions I’ve ever seen. Yet it’s fascinating. It reminds me of the houses I used to build in Sims 1 when I had the unlimited money cheat lmao. Imagine the amount of shingles on the roof of that thing. If they intended to built this for a business, then they should have at least built it with an “industrial” look but instead they literally went with a middle class brick house look all the way around. It’s like they said hey, let’s be as cheap as we can on the material but make it as big as we can lol.

Can I comment? Haven't been to the stadium in a few years, but it is an amazing place to view an event. Went to SWC football games in the day and also to Drum Corps International competitions when they were held here. The sightlines are incredible. You feel like the stadium might take flight at any moment. And you have views of the city. This stadium from the fifties had more seating than any other SWC school, including Texas and A&M in the next decade. The beauty of the stadium comes from the fact it was designed to be what it is. Other schools ad 5, 10, 15 thousand seats at a time wherever they can. So they end up as a clusterxxxx of piecemeal add-ons.
