Гергиев ускоритель. Он просто высокомерен для того чтобы дать нотам более естественную жизнь. Эта гонка сложно понять для чего. Просто чтобы уничтожить ткань? Терпеть не могу эту скорость, словно героиновую.

This is such a distinctive part of the concerto, you can pretty easily identify the specific player by only listening to this part. To me it is one of the most expressive moments in all of classical music, truly excellent writing by Sibelius and performing by everyone. Some not shown in this video that play this part beautifully and uniquely are Itzhak Perlman, Lisa Batiashvili, and Kyung Wha Chung. Daniel Lozakovich, Hilary Hahn, and James Ehnes I also like very much.
Is the full performance available on KZbin? Please credit the orchestra and link please!!

Ray was ny favourite, carries powerful tone as well as having a gentle, sweet touch to it. Its the the aporoach rhey go for when the second phrase starts, Ray and Hilary started for gently while others were aggressive. But Ray interpreted the entire phrase better I think

I thought Ray Chen did the best for sure. Most of the others were more aggressive and didn’t carry the delicate emotion in the same way. But Hillary Hahn was also very good.

@@aarons5018Lmao you just made four assumptions without basis. I’m definitely not biased towards Ray Chen, as I don’t even really care for his more recent recordings of Sibelius.
