I would think that Lookout Tower should be a great include to know what your opponent is planning.

Also just curious why the Core was played off to the side, was it to conserve board space? I assumed that you would need to have someone carrying the core to get its effect. I am still learning the rules so may be mis-understanding this.
@BrothersoftheRealm2 ай бұрын
You are exactly right, we play pretty much any of the artifacts our Avatars are carrying off to the side of the board to conserve board space. It is understood that our Avatars are the ones carrying the Cores/etc. You are correct that it does need to be held to get its effect. Sorry for the confusion we will try to clarify that in any future videos!

Your channel is great! Keep it up. We are just getting started at our locals and can't wait to finally play Sorcery!!

Thank you so much for the kind words and welcome to the Sorcery community. I'm glad you were able to find something you like on our channel. We will continue to make the best content we can for this amazing game!

Found your deck on the website! Excited to dive into leagues with this list. Funny enough I also loved Nimbus Djinn, even though I never got to play when I got my beta cards earlier this year.
@BrothersoftheRealm2 ай бұрын
Yes Nimbus Jinn was the primary win condition in the beta format and I don't think it got any worse. Still a very powerful minion that can really catch your opponent off guard!

I thought intercept was only valid if the enemy was passing through the site in question en route to elsewhere - not just moving to it.
@Azerea972 ай бұрын
Yeah, Intercept is a confusing rule all together. It does work how we used it, but I get why you'd think that, especially with them using a diagram of that situation as an example in the rulebook.

Really solid deck, strong minions. i’m going to make mine based on this, thank you.
@BrothersoftheRealm2 ай бұрын
@jcgrx2251 This is certainly a good starting point, in my opinion. I played a little sloppy and was a bit aggressive with some of my plays but I have confidence in this build and it is fun to play. More to come soon!

Archimago + Sorcerer duo tag team play deck would be fire.

think this will have long term collector value?
@BrothersoftheRealm2 ай бұрын
Genuinely I do, especially as the game grows and continues. There is always a chance things will change but how things currently look Sorcery is still just getting started and has a bright future.

8:27 not a curio I’m afraid. If it was the word “drops” in the text box would be weirdly typed to emphasize the word drop
@BrothersoftheRealm2 ай бұрын
Yes, unfortunately we didn't see that specific curio before we recorded this video. So it seems we just got a strangely upside down card that just happened to have a curio variant. That is usually my luck!

You have to pay Mana and need the right threshold for Archimagos ability.

Yes you are absolutely correct! We weren't sure at first but if it doesn't say "for free" or specify a cost you have to pay. Thank you!

Thanks for posting! I’m not sure what rules the tournament was using, but for the TTS League, we use the unofficial comprehensive rulebook, which clarifies a few of the corner cases here. Around 14:00, you mention that both the Ghost Ship and the summoned spirit via Ghost Ship will gain Charge. That’s certainly possible, but the sequence would be: - Play Evil Presence (some earlier turn) - Cast Ghost Ship to the void with Evil Presence, causing Ghost Ship to gain Charge and Evil Presence to return to your hand. - Cast Evil Presence. - Move Ghost Ship into a site. It summons a Spirit, triggering Evil Presence so the new Spirit gains Charge and Evil Presence returns to hand. So, you can definitely have both of them with Charge, but it requires casting Evil Presence in between. Around 27:00 you mention moving or playing sites under Ghost Ship. Per the unofficial comprehensive rulebook, that does not count as “entering” the site. The minion was already there. I think that’s relatively minor, but it seemed worth clarifying. Here’s a link to the comprehensive rulebook: docs.google.com/document/d/1qmvfgHiGMVSBue36ucdXg5Ik6RZ4StqsJUNS0sJZL7E As one more example, if you summon Ultimate Horror into Evil Presence, you’ll have a trigger from Evil Presence and the Genesis ability at the same time. You’ll get to order them as you wish. In the end, exactly one spirit will gain charge from Evil Presence, even if multiple spirits enter simultaneously, because Evil Presence can only resolve its effect when it’s in the realm. Hope this helps! Either way, awesome deck! I don’t recall the last time I’ve seen Desthspeaker without Fire, since Vile Imp is so good, but clearly it works here!

cool deck tech! and congrats on the huge win! just wanted to hear your thoughts on why you ran 2 EP over 3 EP?
@Azerea979 ай бұрын
I was running 3 EP initially, but cut one when I made the change to Deathspeaker. It was mostly just because I needed the space and with the card draw Deathspeaker brings, it seemed the best choice to drop one. Especially since they go back to your hand.
@donovanjugarap9 ай бұрын
@@Azerea97 That makes sense. I guess you just have to play less risky with the Pre-turn EP placement if they still have dispel in their deck. Cool to see spirits win it all. I'm a big fan of the archetype :D
