The status of the horses that are there remind me of the status of our canine unit here in the usa. They are working, they are to be respected, they are doing their job, and they are doing it well.

These men and women deserve the utmost respect and it bothers me that people are so very rude. But if you want to know what an American thinks about the Guards...I think you are wonderful and I appreciate all that you do❤

I've been around horses for years and this was a unsafe situation having the horse basically surrounded.. could have gone wrong! And the toddler could have gotten pulled out of the dad's arms... They were lucky this horse has a good temperament.. Always pay attention to the ears!

I realize that the guards are proud of their service and position but how do they feel about their uniforms? Would they choose to update them if they could or do they prefer to keep the tradition? They seem similar to the US soldiers that guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers.
