I would in your case add a *seal* with electrical tape wrapped around the k&n filter to make it fit perfectly. If the filter is truly higher quality, it should do a better job filtering out dirt. Shouldn’t have to do this, but it may give more peace of mind.

I absolutely hate this razor. It takes 10 solid minutes just to shave with this thing. You'd think expensive "German engineering" would produce a quality product but nope! Having my girlfriend buy me a Norelco to replace it this Christmas. I guess it depends on people's face profiles and thickness of hair etc but they want waaay too much money for the replacement cleaner cartridge and it clogs to boot and there's no way you're going through them at a pace of "every nine months" because mine when brand new went through one in less than 6 and I didn't even shave that often. Just not a satisfactory product for the price. Edit: i actually think I might try the Panasonic ARC5. Every Panasonic product I've ever owned has been some of the best things I've ever bought, didn't even know they made razors until I googled the best shavers of 2023 and that was first place.

I can see the dust inside, but I was afraid to use too much force to remove the cover. Now that I have it cleaned out it is working much better.

Great video. Cleaning white vinegar will supposedly kill mold much better than bleach. Also, I have towels wrapped around the exhaust tube since a lot of heat comes off of that.

I would worry about the bottles of water in your car door. Giving you more toxins, then your K&N filter. Look in to plastic bottles getting hot for long periods. Thanks for your review.

Most things are simple... once you know how to do them! I removed the bottom screws and the cover wouldn't budge. Looked all over for an exploded parts diagram (no luck for my CV-P10PC, only similar models) and was like "what in the heck did Sharp do here, make a model variation where the cover can't be removed?". Then I found your video with a big "duh". And my name is also Brian so that was an extra laugh.

I know this video is old, but do you (or anyone else) know a replacement hose that fits? I also can't figure out if it has a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. The universal one from Home Depot was too big, but does fit over the base. I believe that one measures 5.9". I think I read somewhere that the Sharp one is tricky bc it's not the standard 5, 5.1, or 5.9, but closer to something like 5.3. Would love any input!

I purchased a blower to dry my cpap tubbing and I also use it to blow out the razor head after a tap as much hair shavings. Then rinse everything blow it dry again. Use the razor cleaner once a week.

My thoughts after having followed this are first, not spilling oil on the driveway seems virtually impossible. The placement doesn't have a clear path past the undercarriage, and trying to use a smaller tray above that and moving it out didn't work as I had hoped. I had to do this crazy bear hug around the support on my left then reach through the wheel well on the right to get the torque to get the bell housing off. It was very snug. Didn't pick up right away that it was spinning after the threads cleared due to the pressure of the o-rings. My new ebay filter only cam with one of the two o-rings, oddly the one that I left was the original sealing o-ring at the top (not the dust sealing ring lower down). I had a really hard time getting those threads to grab, and the freezer trick didn't seem to work. I took a couple foot log stick (I'm not recommending this, it's just what I did), and tapped it gently with my deadblow mallet then it seemed to grab, I reasoned that one or the other of those o-rings didn't want to go in.
