Hey John. Sal from the Gibby forum. As I sit here with a port line in my arm, my thoughts were drawn to you and I wanted to know how you were making it out. Well... it looks like you have been doing swell. Have a great '25

Sal, it's great to hear from you! Tell me about the port line. As yo likey know, I'm 5 years into a cancer journey and have experienced my fair share of medical interventions (with more to come soon).

Finally viewing your journey videos. Dr. Bernie Siegel would have loved your positive attitude. What a journey you have been on and I'm thankful there was a happy ending. Wishing you every blessing.

Can you tell me the batch number of your L-1? That is the number stamped on the base of the neck visible through the sound hole. Mine is 9212.

What model is this?
@johnthomasguitar4 ай бұрын
It's the WWII-era LG-1. It's X-braced and sports fancy trim like multiple purfings around the top and back and a fancy rosette. Gibson only ever shipped 139 of this model.
