I have a feeling you did not pay attention to the video, that or your brain could not comprehend what was going on, either way, this short DOES NOT represent grooming, pedophilia, or abuse as you make it to seem. The dad, walks in on the kid holding the skirt, The dad looked very confused and possibly even disappointed. This should tell you the Dad did not play a role in the son having interest in skirts or girl toys. Even when the dad is in the school with his son the first time, he does not look that found of the idea, and still appears to be very confused. When the kid runs out of the class in school, his dad YET AGAIN is looking CONFUSED, and even sad/sorry for his son. The dad crossed a picture of his son with a pink shadow, and his son appears to be happy with the pink shadow. The Dad, comforts his son by making an unexpected appearance in his room wearing a skirt. The dad could of done this for number of reasons but I would say it is best to assume this was the way for the dad to tell him that he accepts him and it is okay for even guys to wear skirts. He probably did this since he did not know how to tell his son that he still loves him and accepts him. The short does not pin point gender dysphoria, or if it is simple a boy who likes girl things more than guys, (like tomboys are girls who like guy things more than girl things). Overall the dad did not force, push, or even understand the situation, this dad was put in this situation 100% unexpectedly. All the dad did at the end was show the kid that he will always be a dad, witch comes with loving and excepting your kids. Also this is Fiction (HINTS THE WHOLE SHADOW THING). I also want to argue that the kid was very much loved by his father as the boy he was, (HINTS THE BOYISH PICTURES OF HIM AND HIS FATHER) granted the kid looked confused in most of them probably due to not understanding why he did not enjoy "boy" activities. Secondly "The pink Demon". Demons, usually refer to "entities" that have a negative tow on the character, most commonly a demons destroy characters mentally, usually leading to depression, or other mental health issues. In the case of this short, the pink shadow is actually making the boy happy and joyful with no harm involved. The pink shadow is not a demon or anything he is not, the shadow a part of him. (I believe the shadow represents the part of the boy that he has felt he had to hide from everyone, even his father) Like you said yourself, just because the character likes playing with girl toys, and wearing girl clothes, does not mean he has gender dysphoria or is gay. The author does not include any serialization within any of this, and it is safe to assume this child is to young to even know what sex it, or why anyone would want to do something so gross (saying this because I thought sex was gross as a kid). For all we know this boy is happy being a boy and he just likes skirts and girl clothes, or he could have gender dysphoria. AGAIN, like you said (and me) at this age the kid would not be thinking of sex. Also I would like to include NO ONE has mentioned anything to do with surgery, transformation or even direct gender dysphoria in this short. This short did not include anything sexual, or en-valving transformation, and I can almost bet that this kid not not have a clue what a vagina is and probably does not even have a clue about the human penis. (I say this because at this age I did not, and I don't know much people who did) I want to start this part off AGAIN by reminding you NOTHING about this short was sexual or perverted. Next I would like you to know not everyone believes in god (It is 100% fine if you do) But it is not fine to force religion on others. NOW it is okay to introduce religion to others in a health manner. But I am glad you shared yours, since I will take that as a brief invitation to share abit of my "Philosophy" For all we know, we have one life, and it is not promised to us, this one life should be lived to the fullest of the one living it, they have the right to do whatever with it they please as long as it does not harm another life. In this short the kid is doing nothing more than wearing a skirt and possible playing with "girl" toys. The dad is not influencing the kid at all in this situation, the dad is simple showing his kid that he is safe being himself. The kid and the dad are NOT harming anyone or anything. I appreciate the offering to pray to your god, but truly I would rather take my chanced in hell. It’s essentially promoting the idea that if you think you are a thing, then simply thinking that, or wishing deeply for it to be true, miraculously makes it true and then you are that thing. That is what is nonsense. If John wishes he was 1ft taller and goes around proclaiming he is 6ft4 (when in reality he is 5ft4) does that mean he actually is 6ft4, or just that he is deluded about reality? If you answered the latter then explain that that example is any different to thinking you are the opposite sex

Listen to the book narration - the father says: "Your shadow is pink, I see now it's true, it's not just your shadow, it's your innermost you". I think we can both agree that the 'shadow' in this book is obviously an analogy to an internal sense of self identity. So the message here is clear as day: If you believe yourself to be something then you actually are that thing. Put a different way, if your imagination tells you 'I am a girl' then in reality you literally ARE now a girl. That is the dangerous and false message here. Just to be clear, I'm about to have a baby boy. If one day he starts wishing to play with pink ponies and puts on dresses I have no issue with that - I won't be telling him what he can and can't play with, what he can or can't be interested in - that's completely up to him. If he grows up to be gay, straight, bisexual I will accept and love him regardless. What I will never do is confirm a delusional idea he might have about himself. Because no matter how much he might wish he was born a girl, no amount of me 'affirming' this falsehood, no amount of dresses or pink lipstick etc. will actually make it so. What this video promotes is the deliberate confusing and blurring of the lines between internal subjective experience (what we wish or want to be true) and objective reality (what is actually true).
