I’d suggest using these kinds of pedals with something like a Boss LS-2 or some other mixing pedal that allows you to add in your clean sound. I use the LS-2 with my JHS Morning Glory and JptrFX Jive and it makes all the difference in the world in a live situation. For recording of course you can blend with a DI clean track. I just ordered a Double Thruster so interested to see how the blend works on that. Either way the LS-2 will pick up the low end slack.

I was really hoping this was gonna sound great. This has the controls I was looking for compared to the Wine Cellar. But the audio quality of this is no comparison to the Wine Cellar. If the WC had the Mid range or better yet, a graphic EQ, it would slay. Right now,.. I am thinking I gotta spend a few more $$$ and get the JOYO Tidal Wave or the Monomyth. For $77 the Joyo's audio quality and flexability and use is superior. JMO

This video was what got me to pull the trigger on this OD earlier this year. I'm still not a huge fan of the pedal in general, but you showed that it's capable of a very particular sound that I was after, and it delivers that sound excellently.

It's funny with synth pedals things have gone full-circle: programmers and composers were very creative to work within the very restrictive hardware limitations of 8 & 16 bit consoles/computers to sound as much as real instruments as possible ...and here we are trying to make real instruments sound like a really awful 8-bit encode.

You definitely need headphones for the demo. The box doesn't sound good. There was no good clean sound to be heard. Sounds like a slight overdrive is activated. It could blow up in your face when you slap the bass.

I got me one of the Wine Cellar thinking the XLR output could be used as DI with phantom power but it doesn't work with phantom power at all. It only sends out the same level as the jack output when plugged to a 9v power source. What's the deal with that?

I love Jo Bass demos and I know phone speakers don't reproduce bass signals well, but I feel like this is the first video I've heard where the rhythm track totally drowns the bass. Unless that's the point of the demo.

Got this pedal and it sounds way better on this bass than it does on a 6 string. On a 6 string sounds like all the speakers are ripped.

I think this pedal would be useful if you were composing stuff but I'm not sure that it would help the mainstream bassist, particularly a musician who plays in a cover band.....unless it is a Pink Floyd cover band?

Del segundo 0:38 al minuto 1:18 no hay cambio de sonido, solo se mueve el selector de frecuencia media pero no su nivel para escuchar algún cambio de sonido.
