Will be following as I have a 73 aquasport 196 that needs a transom rebuild. Trying to decide if I want to close it in. I noticed you decided to cut the outside of transom out bs the inside. Any reasoning on that? I see a lot of people cutting the inside out to reinforce the transom and stringers.

FYI, a direct oil cooler will not fit on a 4x4. The front driveshaft is in the way. A remote oil cooler is made for four wheel drive vehicles that fits on the driver's side where the extra battery goes

Tell me what the two green wires are for why they need to be tied together and which pin on the 0411 connector does it slide in

You may want to reconsider the gasket under the filter adapter. If it ever falls apart you're going to have a bad day. Any leakage is internal it just bypasses the filter just like when it's cold and goes through the bypass. Before everyone panics at the thought of unfiltered oil don't forget the small blocks didn't even have filters for 55-57.

Easiest way is to get a bcm that has that feature and other features programed not everyone wants to deal with all the nonsense computer thing easier faster than paying a tuner to add that feature and charging like 200 or 300 dollars

When ya swapped the PCM from black box to 0411 did the key fob to open the doors still work along with the AC, and the 4x4?

So u running 2 oil filters

I did the same thing mines a 4x4 though so had to use a stubby filter because of front diff axle but my oil pressure skyrocketed after deleting the oil cooler lines!

What ive been trying to figure out is which line goes to the top of radiator. The bottom line from the engine or the top oil cooler line from the engine.

I just replaced the black box pcm in a 96 Savana with a cardone reman and it solved the no start due to a cold soak temp reading of 214 according to the computer. It was packed full of aluminum oxide. Looked like cream o wheat in there. Gotta flash the new one now.
