Nice video but you don’t need to badmouth others. I don’t know all the people Katona’s family farms sell to anymore besides Campbell’s. They are one of the largest north east growers and are just as diversified as you.

I had no idea i thougbt tomatoes wr hand picked only from greenhouses. I live in Oklahoma. I discovered its waaaay too brutally hot here 4anything. Realizing crops prefer north of south Missouri. Been 100° 2.5 monrhs straight beginning mid April. U water &tomato nearly dead by evening starving 4more water. Beans, zilch. Wont even produce. All plants are just mercilessly brutalized here. Apples,, peaches nearly impossible

This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen! Do you ever send boxes of these tomatoes to poor countries?

Not sure if you will see this since it has been a while, but from one LuckyFarmKid to another, show some more stuff! Super intriguing and I want to hear more and see more on your bin setup. I am getting ready to take over the family farm and totally dig all these videos.

Outstanding Video Tyler. I remember mowing for the state highway , and we were on St.Rd. 31 somewhere around Whiteland. All I could see were tomatoes. Could this be you guys? Tomatoes rule.

@@LtColDaddy71 I guesstimated somewhere in the neighborhood of $2,500,00 to $3,500,000 for materials, labor, and electrical. Not sure if I over estimate or under estimated it.

@@jonhoskins5596 That one knocked me out of my chair, but I think you're about right. Capitalize that out over 30 years. Not even adjusting for inflation, the return on investment by being able to time sales to when the market is a little higher, and it pays for itself. Minus upkeep, maintenance, repairs, add back in labor savings and most importantly, at todays scale, their just isn't any way to exist without it.
