V6 as a daily is perfectly fine for 99% of people. I'm at 111k on my '16 I do mixed driving of highway/city I average 26MPG. My commute is around 20 miles one-way 3x a week, so I can go almost 3 weeks between fill-ups. I like the space for passengers. It has enough get up and go to react to situations that may come up. My only issue with it is that b/c it's RWD when on wet roads the rear will spin out due to weight distro.

I am thinking of buying a charger ex cop car so i have 2 options a v8 and v6 both have the same price but ofc different mileage my question is is it worth buying the v8 or not i know more power but one is basically new and the v8 is in between and is it worth buying a cop car or pay extra for a normal one ??

I just got a 2020 charger with a 3.6 v6 and only lost to a scat pack challenger by 2 car lengths want more speed and this helped with me choosing my mods

Add k.n. cold air intake 80mm throttle body ripp coil packs NGK spark plugs race Ported upper and race ported lower air intake manifold custom tuning exhaust is straight piped/ w burble tune 🎶 V6 charger

Just bought my 16 yr old son a 2016 Charger SVX. He absolutely loves it. I wasn’t about to throw a 16 yr old in a skat pack or hell cat and he said he didn’t care about it being a V6. Still almost 300 Horse. Plenty of pickup. Good heavy solid built car. I’ve been extremely impressed with it. Rides really good.

I have no urge for driving fast so I would be happy with a V6. I got all my racing around out in my teens & twenties. The only benefit of a V8 for me would be the sound. I'd rather have better gas mileage. But I would get the four cylinder Camaro/Mustang before a 6-cylinder Charger.

Those may all be helpful but will not make your car much faster or near an RT in horsepower. The only thing that will do that for a V6 is forced induction of some kind. A cold air intake will maybe add 5 HP, pedal commander will not add anything but make throttle response better which I do agree will help in any vehicle, I use a 9 Drive in my vehicles. Stock air box can definitely flow more air than needed and already pulls air from a colder location than the engine bay. The best thing I could recommend is a tune, that would add the most power with reasonable cost.

So you don’t have a law for the front license where you live? I remember back when I had my rallye I loved the front end and I had to put a license in my bumper . I hated it, definitely ruins the look by a fair margin

You know if the gt is more costly for insurance than the regular sxt? Seems the gas mileage is the same according to your video actually. I think the main drawback is it looks way more expensive than it is and It will stand out to thieves. I know of v6s getting stolen bc they looked like v8s lol. Can’t have anything nice. I think if the insurance is higher than a regular v6 I’d pass . These are cool cars but even the regular v6 can be fun and reliable. The much higher end cars are just toys and not great ideas for normal driving and living due to ridiculous prices of initial price but also gas and insurance it’s not really practical at all but obviously they are fun . Also I love hearing music when I drive (So idk if I want a fairly loud engine) and even tho I’m a car guy I’m also a musician so for me the perfect car experience is a fast punchy car with a great rock song playing

Just purchased a new 2023 Charger GT GO Mango about 2 weeks ago and our 17 year old daughter a new 2033 Charger SXT. Both have the same 6 and drive amazing. I am almost 73 and always loved the Charger. Been in law enforcement for almost 30 years and in 2006 was a Traffic Officer and in December old 2006 I got the first Charger we ever got and it was a 2007. We slick topped it and when people saw it they went wild. It had a 6 and was plenty fast also it was a different 6. I LOVED that car. Great video
