It's insane when i don't use it... But when i try to use it. Its the worst pile of shit to ever touch my hands. But yet i always get absolutely destroyed by the wellstringer.....

Cool video, one complaint. Its pronounced "Wellstring Five" because "V" means 5 in Roman Numerals, which have been used before in other things in Splatoon. It also makes sense because the Wellstring V shoots five projectiles lol.

As someone who has always liked the idea of Stringers, but never got into them, the Wellstring seems perfect for me.

I immensely enjoyed the new stringer, but I dont know how viable it is at higher level. Its great for overwhelming at lower level (which I very much am), but it's hard to play consistently. It could work well if supported by a chip comp or something of the like, and both kits can definitely be used for zoning pressure. As for kits, theres a lot of synergy with both (though stamp is slightly odd) and I feel both are valid for different situations. Namely comp dependant and mode/map combination dependant.

This weapon is definitely the underdog of this season.

After waiting so long Stringer and Splatana fans needed these really awesome weapons. Those splats were so satisfying to watch.

People don’t know how to rush it yet. If you linger or stall in any area in range of a wellstring, you’ll just get stuck and die. You have to flank and pressure it to shut them down. Treat it like an E Liter

This is literally just tri stringer but you cannot hold charge.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this weapon is absolutely insane. I saw it at first and was excited to get a new stringer, but while waiting for the new season, I slowly became more dismissive because of how eccentric it looked. But I picked it up for a few matches and I think it was the most fun I've had playing this game in quite a while, and it ended up being one the most cracked weapons I've ever seen. It doesn't feel like it deserves to be this good, but I'm so glad that it is.

I tried the point sensor wavebreaker one and i actually had alot of fun! But ill be honest i think ill enjoy the autobomb one so much more when i play it

I still don’t see the point of well strings existence, it’s just 2 more bullets with a different mechanic. I think I’m just missing something lol

Remember during its kit reveal, people kept saying "poor Stringer players" or" R.I.P Stringers". Boy, did things change once the season arrived. A good chunk of people online are having fun with Wellstring despite the average kits and opponents are getting annoyed with fighting them. That + the needed buffs given to the other Stringers, fans of this weapon class are feasting right now.

I’ve discovered I can consistently go 15+/5 for K/D on tower control with hydra and still lose 50% of the time.

hydra my beloved <3 i do recommend swim speed though, funnily enough, because it's a heavy weapon for the mains i run 2 run speed and 1 swim speed, plus 3 more subs of run speed then the rest of the build can just be whatever utility subs you want, that's pretty much it :D
