it's a great toy! When assembling it, make sure the wings are well centered and "squared". It is very easy to mount them ever-so-slightly canted to one side or the other, making the glider turn, as yours does. Easiest way to check if everything is true is to measure the distance of the wing tips to the tip of the tail with a piece of string. Check it is even on both side, and do the same with the elevator. It should then fly beautifully. Any remaining correction can be made by very gently twisting the foam. I have also found them to be slightly nose-heavy (hence the nose dive), making them stable, but spoiling the duration of the flight. Try to tape a coin or two under the tail so the glider balances perfectly when held under the front third of the wing.

i just got into rc a couple years ago.. im a traxxas fan.. im from houston, tx. maybe us texans just stand up for what we do.. i dont like the fact they went against hpi, but.... when other companies try to profit off of your name or design you become the victim.. if you let them get away with it the next thing you know.. you go out of business. keep doing your thing Traxxas..

I have one of these too! Mine is a bit different, the wing comes in two parts that you stick together through it and when it crashed sometimes one part of the wing falls apart and creates a crash with 1 wing lol.

I've got one of these Krick 'Lady' - it was my very first R/C model I had for Christmas back in the late '70s. Interesting how yours doesn't nose-dive when you stop as mine did, but then I didn't have an ESC back then just a second servo activating a simple microswitch for on-off power. I since fitted a speed controller and an upgraded brushed motor and 2x 7.2v Nicads - as I ran 6v to start with. I am considering brushless motor and Lipo cell upgrade to bring this piece of nostalgia back to life, but will try and get it running with what I have first . Thanks for inspiration to get it up and running again. I did modify the upper body on mine to resemble a single seat power boat using some space R/C car body parts though so mine doesn't quite look like that anymore. My father also came up with an ingenious system to water-cool mine, when heat when motor and batteries discharging ran too hot really. The issue with Hobbicos arma nero was they have the same geomotrys as the erevo/revoHobbie co just lifted the specs for the geootrtys. They didn't give traxxas any recognition for the desinge (traxxas wanted a wooden nickel) and hobbi co didn't even chat with them , you could but the armma parts on to a traxxas , it wants as simple as the imboard socks desinge , name lawsuits dumb but alright courast uo held it. Receiver box was dumb to come on.

The last time Lidl had them about a year ago they sold out quickly, this time I made sure to get one so I bought 3. One for experimenting, I found the bolt, the others are for the spare bolts. Sadly this is as far as I will get.

Hello, great video and great car. I just bought one and am working on wheel fitment to fit the 200mm HPI 69 Camaro. It looks like you’re running the 31mm wheels. I’m concerned about the 6mm offset on these wheels making it too wide for the body. Can I bother you for an outside measurement with those wheels on it ? Thank you !
