Salty water is mostly the death of all electronics. It can help to wash the Drone with clear water quickly after it contacted Salt water.

Fortunately it was fresh water, had it been salt water, I doubt whether it would have survived.

If you land in Salt Water, then immideatly wash it with fresh water as soon as possible and let it dry after that. This should work.

Oh Yes! Hardest thing is to get near these Canyons in a strategic position to have good connection
