Thanks! I paid for it afterwards. These racing score events are about half way between D and C, which seems about right.

yes, all my race ranking scores are 3 months out of date. 3 weeks in hospital, 6 weeks not weight bearing on one leg and still using crutches to help walk has reduced my power and increased my weight. 😁

But back enjoying racing, next mission is to not get dropped in next couple of weeks and hopefully lose a kg or two.

New race score seems about right, assuming this group has a mix of D and C riders: - 3 months ago I was top of D, mid C - been injured and riding less, now somewhere in top half of D - coming at the front of the second group seems about right (top half finish ... just) - my seed score barely changed (320-something)

I doubt being sick had much impact. Probably an excuse. I reckon it’s more lack of fitness on the long rides. We will have to wait and see what happens with the series!

Never seen anyone maintain 100 rpm throughout a whole race even on flats never mind on a ride exclusive of climbs...Are you using an electric bike?
@michaelnelson1089
@michaelnelson1089 6 ай бұрын
Ha. No. I have arthritic knees and need to reduce resistance. I’ll take that as a compliment. I also increase rpm on climbs for the same reason. Feel free to look at all my other rides for similar rpm. I aim for 90+rpm on flats, and higher on climbs. I also find that mid-foot cleats reduce the load on my knees.

Nice video. It is especially interesting without narration. It was fun to see myself in someone else's video (I am in the Bike & Beer kit) but was pretty tired for this set since I had done Zone 1 and Zone 2 already that day. I identify with your assessment of Cat D as the heaviest, weakest, riders and aspire to do my part to keep it that way! Keep up the good work and maybe see you at another Tiny Race soon.
