This video was a great introduction to learning watershed analysis on site. Simple and easy to follow along as long as you have your topography surface set up before trying this tutorial. I had no issues, helped a lot for my current project. Thanks!

Hi! Is there a way to create a new surface (Designed/Finished) based on the existing profile view (Profile creation tools - added the finished) to create a cut/fill volume comparison?

Hi thank you for your fast reply@@dmcaddrafting8907. This is a road surface profile. I have now designed a finished grade on the profile (based on your tutorial). My problem now is how can I provide a cut/fill volume based on the comparison on the profile alone. I tried to research and most would show that it would require 2 surfaces to achieve this. You might be able to help and know how to create a new surface based on the designed grade on the existing profile?

@@ultrainvinceble If it's a road profile you would want to procede with creating a full road corridor based on the preferred road cross-section. After creating the road corridor you can then extract the final surfaces needed for comparison with the EG surface. I hope this answers your question.

To create a polyline object as shown in this example go to Home>Draw>Polyline in the menu ribbon and then draw the object with the pointer. Hope this saves someone time. Thanks for another stellar tutorial.

When attempting to follow the step at 4:26 I have found that I do not have an option for "Drain" Any ideas on why this might be? Thank you for creating this content.

If you do not have the "Drain" Point Style, you will need to just create a new one so that it can appear in the drop-down list. You can customize that list as you want with your preferred symbols for each point style. I hope this helps. Good luck and thanks for watching the video.

Great video! I have created a corridor with one assembly (normal crown) and now I am trying to match existing profile and elevation of the road whereby some sections require super elevation. Can I use this tool to that?

To apply superelevation to a road corridor you will need to change lane superelevation properties within assembly properties.

Kindly make town/city planning from irregular land area via parcel having multiple roads/alignments with intersections and roundabouts,different sizes of plots(100sq.yd,200sq.yd,400sq.yd,600sq.yd & 1000sq.yd),shopping malls,schools,hospitals areas etc...
