My wife and I got to see a Cien traveling westbound on Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, California just after a weekend car show, back around 2003. Technically not street legal, but it had dealer plates on it to avoid any issues while driving it.

This was the car they should’ve made why because I love along Hood on a two door just like the 1930s Bugatti or CL iMercedes or the phantom coupe but this had even Goodthe most amazing proportions. That Ferrari seems tedious to get in or out of @ a busy mall or sporting venue as a family. Different doesn't always equate to better or if this instance funtional. If there's only two people then the Ferrari isn't bad especially if you utilize both sides of the vehicle.

I had a friend who had a GT90 folder for school, and he told me what it was when I asked, and sometime later, I was staying over at his house, and we played NFS 2, and I got to use it. I now have a 1:18 scale model of it, and it is my favorite concept car. I like the new Ford GT, and how Ford gave it a complete redesign and basically made it a new car, but I like the GT90 far better. There might be a bit of childhood nostalgia in my bias.

Powertrain and suspension wise the Terminator was basically the Mach III in production trim.

What a freaking machine.I had to look this up because I just rewatched the island, the first time I watched it was probably when it first came on and the car wasn't as impressive then but now, 20 years later, made me wonder why I never saw this car. They say they didn't take it further because they didn't think they would get the $200k they would have to charge for them but i think they're wrong now in 2024. My opinion is they would sell now. The magnums were everywhere after this movie and now they're nowhere except for scrap yards. Bring on the Caddy Cien!!! I'll take one off your hands!!

There's a few cars that were ahead of their time that only got as far as concept or a one off for a pace car here or there...but the things they managed and the designs would hold up to today's models and tech...The Cadillac Cien, Cadillac Sixteen, Dodge M4S Interceptor Turbo, and several others but these would have been insanely awesome to have had hit mass production in their times...and might've even significantly surpassed their initial outcomes with today's additions they could add on and modify...just imagine if Cadillac HAD put it into production...would've beat Corvette to the punch by over 20 years.

I still do some googling from time to time... It was a beauty, a damn shame Mazda didnt rebuilt it. But perhaps understandable that only one was ever made, definitely its a race/track vehicle, the after images of the wreckage shows a monocoque couldnt have imagined the expensive PR that went horribly wrong. E100 fuel, lag of extensive inlets/outlets for cooling. etc the list is long. It has a digital successor in Gran Turismo but I can only hope maybe in an alternate reality it will be reborn on day, but we're in the midst of an "EV revolution", so its impossible that it will happen. But knowing Mazda and japanese corporate culture its design is probably stashed somewhere, afterall the Aston Martin Valkyrie exists, so here's to hoping its Phoenix revival some day.

Hi Sean long time no see. Benz's always focus on luxury rather than sports because they don't really know how to make supercars, they normally copy other car companies or ask other car companies to build them fast cars then purposefully reduce the top speed on their supercars.

I feel like these car companies are just changing the front end lol, makes no sense for it to be a V8 but I guess we will have to see when or if it comes out lol, great video :)

It's a pity this did not go into production. It would have been the ultimate single seat motorcar. Look at the roads and see how many huge 7 seat SUV's and large luxury barges with only one person in the vehicle. A complete waste of materials and resources.

I don't even know why Ford still haves a Lincoln division. It's like for every Lincoln i see there's like 10 Cadillacs, BMWs, or Mercedes. Car or SUV.
