I can’t remove the vin license to my old tunner I did this but it didn’t remove his old vin now I can’t add a new one

@@williamclendenen1455 a VIN license can’t be removed once a truck in flashed with a device. You can buy additional VIN licenses to flash another vehicle but you have to have open vin slots in order to do so. Whoever your autocal is linked to has to send you an expansion code to open more VIN slots so that you can buy another VIN license for $125

If I’m trying to change my tuner from anarchy to ccs but I don’t have a stock tune, can I just unlink and buy new tunes from ccs or do I need to return truck to stock

Thanks for the very thorough and informative video. My son has a 2007 Silverado 2500HD Classic (Duramax) and a few years ago he purchased a tune from an outfit that no longer exists. The tuner provided the tune and an AutoCal V3 linked to his FlashScan. Since then, my son has installed new oversized injectors and a slightly larger turbocharger and exhaust system. He has purchased a 5-pack of tunes from a reputable tuning outfit and they sent him the tunes and activation codes via email along with a DSP5 switch. My question is, "can he link his AutoCal to the new tuner by going straight to the Conversion tab, or will he need to unlink the AutoCal first?" Sorry for this being an elementary question, but I'm new to EFILive and have never done this before. The last thing we want to do is brick his ECM because these LBZ ECMs are nearly impossible to find.

He will have to buy the unlink code from Efi website for $50. Unlink the autocal, then you can link to the company who wrote his new tunes. Thanks

Thanks for the informative video! If one has a 5-tune package, is the process for loading the tune package to the AutoCal the same (i.e., drag and drop the 5-tune .bbx file)? Thanks!

For BBX files you have to use the quick setup method of loading it in the BBX tab. CTZ files you can drag and drop the way I show in the video

Go to efilive.com and download the V8 software. V8 Scan and tune

Great tutorial! Thanks! I used to use Teamviewer but due to Tv's business use suspected, I have been playing with AweSun Remote Desktop and I am impressed with it. Free with multiple features and works for me. I think I might transition to it.
