I thought your AMH2B addon is great thinking, so I saw what else you've made and found this. Ingenious! I don't know when I'll need to use it, but I like that it exists if I want it. Thank you. I'm wondering if the LoD technique can be combined with addons like GIS to recreate large landscapes.

This is really useful. I've been trying to make a promo for my scifi book, and wanted to use MPFB, but the mixamo mocap transfer was such work. Have you tried to create wrinkles using the tension addon? I could get it to work on another character, but not the mpfb ones - I'm also pretty ignorant about these things.

That is really nice bro. Do you know how to use the blink action?
@cgepiphany7421
@cgepiphany7421 5 ай бұрын
Yes, the next video tutorial will be about blink. Mostly the same, but in Animation - Viseme -> Load Actions, load MPFB2 Blink. To apply the blink, go to Eye Blink -> Add, under Blink Action choose the blink_close and blink_open actions, then Add Blinks

Hoping you can help ... I created a character in Make Human software.. imported it into blender (dae) altered my character... from there I imported it into Sketchup (dae). What showed up was the character from Make Human not the altered version where I had moved the arms and legs in blender I know there's some steps that I'm not doing . can you help me with what I'm doing wrong? Thanks John.

It seems like changes to your character's armature (the bones) in Blender did not make it to Sketchup because Sketchup does not use armatures, at least not without a lot of extra work. Possible solution to the problem: apply Armature modifier to character's mesh objects in Blender, before exporting to Sketchup. This can be done by selecting the character's meshes and applying each mesh's "Armature" modifier. This will need to be done for each mesh object controlled by the character's armature (bones). E.g. apply "Armature" modifier of all meshes imported from MakeHuman: body, clothes, hair, etc.

Hey brother! need your help.. while importing this 3d girl character the body mesh getting glitched please helppp me!!!

If the face glitches when doing Import MHX2 (example: looks like eyes and mouth are pushed out the back of the head), make sure to disable (uncheck) 'Face Drivers' option (at the bottom of the Import MHX2 options). Enable 'Override Exported Data', in the Import MHX2 window, to see the Import MHX2 options and Face Drivers option. If, instead of the face glitch, it looks like a body glitch - like two copies of the body were imported, then during Import MHX2, after enabling 'Override Exported Data', set Import Human Type (near top of import options) to 'Proxy' instead of 'Both'.

Man, that was a great tutorial! But the part of creating the lipsynch seemed a bit exhausting. There must be a way to expedite this step. Other than that, everything else is very interesting. I'm really excited to test out these features here at home and try to get similar results.
