“Iconic” is a term thrown around constantly today and its meaning has become someone diluted, but it truly applies to Ms. Wash and her place in popular music. She’s just wonderful.

Where is the production of this show, based-??? As much as I like the whole feeling of this show; I am made very uncomfortable by the host >Not having done sufficient research prior to this interview!! Lastly, I wish prinarily, the host would have shifted his whole focus from the start, into far much more creative; imaginative; original; &, thoughtful; well-logic-ed; well-plotted out questions;... And, more secondarily, wishing, that he'd also, included: an, equal mix of interactive; mutually exchanging; mutually respective, dialogue; too.

Martha Wash, you are stunning and your voice is unforgettable. The bands who stole credit for your vocal contribution have truly lost out because everyone knows who you are and that you made those songs as well as you’re own songs, huge hits! ❤🙏🏽

Just heard: long time Castro resident and all around nice guy Bill Longen has died. He was a ubiquitous and muscular presence when I first moved to town and dedicated to his years at the Castro Theatre. I interviewed him once for 10 Percent TV (the link here). A few months ago he reached out, wanting to know how he could support the efforts by Another Planet Entertainment to restore and revitalize the Castro Theatre. More than anyone, he understood the challenges of running a film venue. He was a mensch and a true San Francisco original.

An ikon is a pictorial representation - sculpture, painting, drawing, photograph, that is regarded as containing the spirit or life of the pictured. In reality, it evokes the imaginations of the viewer, sculptor, painter. In simpler words, it is an object onto or into which some individuals project their own thoughts, and beliefs. Consider your admission when you term something or another individual as ikon. Are they not actually themselves, utterly unique genetically, phenotypically, in all time, with any moment completely uncapturable and incomplete? We expect to ourselves be seen when we dance, heard when we voice,; why do you see your own dissociated thoughts and beliefs instead of sensing that Other and their mystery?

I love the way she speaks. But I also saw another documentary on her and this sexy sensual voice is not her real voice. She’s acting in this interview as if she’s Cat woman.

This is a marvelous interview. When asked if being remembered for Catwoman (more than any of her other work) bothers her, she said, "Isn't it wonderful to be acknowledged for anything?" I think that says it all.

I really miss this guy on KOFY. James Gabbert really is a legend. A true television pioneer. He was an everyman. A regular guy who had great ideas. TV 20 KTZO and KOFY was as interesting back in the day as any of the network channels. In fact many times, more interesting!
