Bought this at Ramsbottom's in Shipley in 1982. Always thought it to be a double A side with God Forbid. If so, quite possiblty the best double A sided single of all time. 40 years since they formed. A Lament for Icarus x

I met Andy Cabic and his band a year after this gig. Andy was great we talked about music we were into and it became clear very quickly that we were both avid record collectors. However I also met his guitar player (wearing the hat). He was an arrogant prick.

I was at this amazing show,it was incredible to finally see Manuel,what a fantastic guitarist he is.Midnight on mars was my highlight,I hope that he plays in Britain again soon.

Fantastic musician,i was at this gig,it was amazing.I heard him rehearsing for the show from the street outside.He played Midnight on mars which was sublime,after the show he came over to meet the audience and signed my cd.
