Hello friend, KZbin recommended your video to me and I thought it was really cool that you highlighted this technique, it seems simple, but when executed well it gives soul to the song, I've seen covers of songs where the guitarists' vibrato was completely different from the original song, which automatically took the soul out of it for me.

Vibrato takes a very very long time to master. What it actually does is make the note sing and resonate like a vocal voice does when one is singing correctly.

Got the cigarette burn.. My '94 40th Anniversary American Standard is the same color.. right handed strung upside down.. mine has a rosewood fretboard tho. I know they call it olympic white but Jimi's olympic white Woodstock strat was actually white.. not the yellowed white like yours and mine.. i never understood that but ive heard the white ones turned yellow as they aged.. allegedly that's the reason? I dont know. But i love mine too.
