During my stay at Shinta Mani Angkor and Bensley Collection Pool Villas, a portion of my cash in different currencies was stolen from the locked safe inside my locked hotel room. It appears that hotel staff unlawfully accessed my room. This was a highly calculated theft, as part of a stack of cash was removed so carefully that, unless you count the money carefully, it would be easy to overlook the missing amount. Upon reporting the theft, the hotel management's response was unhelpful and unprofessional. This calculated theft indicates a serious breach of trust and raises grave concerns about the safety and integrity of the hotel’s operations.

Yes! I’ve visited by myself one time. They have scheduled complimentary shuttle into the center of Ubud, check with the front desk! The Spa is amazing.😊

I love visiting the sanctuary! It’s peaceful and the elephants are treated ethically. No riding on or swimming with them just observing them in their natural habitat!🥰

OMG! Why is the video quality so poor??? We were there - and it looks completely different. I know that a film will never reflect the view in reality, but by making this film in such poor quality you do not encourage people to visit this place, even if you say that it is wonderful.

Thank you for your comment! The Maya Ubud is indeed a beautiful and magical place and I agree with you that film will never do justice to a place as actually being there. This is great feedback. I humbly admit, I am a travel operator first and videographer last and have made adjustments on my iPhone settings and filming over time and still learning. Please take a look at the JW Marriott Phuket Resort and Spa or more recent videos. I started using the 4K 60 fps setting starting from that video. Thank you so much for your feedback.

Hi, I am not aware of room viewing tours, but they do have an exclusive historical tour for guests led by a historian about the underground bunker. Please book with the concierge at either wing as there is limited capacity. Enjoy your stay!

@@JewelsofSoutheastAsia you are welcome. If you have a chance to be in Hochiminh city, you should visit Thai Cong interior design showroom and cafe in District 1. I think it is the most glamorous cafe in Vietnam. You can also walk around seeing super luxury furniture ❤️

How long from here to Hoi An or My Son? Does the hotel provide tour cars?

The property is about half hour drive to Hoi An. I cannot comment about My Son or tour cars as we had our own transportation. They do have a scheduled shuttle to Hoi An, but for a fee. Thank you for watching!🙏

all those elegant buildings and exceptional service don’t come cheap. if you want the local experience, you can live in an air b and b , and eat at local joints. There’s nothing my wrong with either option. I, myself, would want the local Viet Nam experience.
