I'm about to install the HMOR Softopper bed rails with my softopper<duh😅> on my 2nd gen Tacoma. Dont plan on putting a RTT. Maybe a platform to haul some misc things. Would i jeed these?

@@emileonidezbringas9923 It's not just load that causes issues, it's taking it off-road. The twisting of the body and frame can cause that even with light load. It is still recommended to put it on

You can install it either way. For the newer decked systems, mounting the other way works best

Do you need stiffners if you just use the bed for hauling?

The bed stiffeners really help with off-roading and or putting weight on the bedsides with a bed rack or other equipment. If you are hauling, they're really nice to have them in there when you want to tie stuff down or support the bed when you are using the t slot rails.

Does this Rack come with all the brackets and hardware shown in the video? I have a Tri-fold BakFlip Tonneau cover and want to do the same thing. From what I see the Mopar cover mounts the same way as the BakFlip.

Will the 21” be high enough for my 85” long RTT to be able to clear the fin antenna? Do you offer this in a 23” or something taller than the 21”? My 2014 has the 5’ bed so it would hang off too much in the rear with a shorter rack

I believe I was running about 12 PSI. But that's a lot of pressure for these bigger tires. If I wanted a cushy ride I would have brought them down to eight

But we already have to deal with closed gates to public land because people tear stuff up that shouldn’t be. Every day more gates get out up an locked .

It increases the overall strength, due to thicker than oem steel and proper welding technique, while increasing the wheel clearance.
