Fontaine is simply a gangster hungry for power like any other gangster. All the problems "on the surface" evidently came back to Rapture. Basically, Ryan's Ayn Rand's Objectivist Utopia fails. Would you kindly continue with Bioshock 2 sometime? From the other comment, it sounds like you already know how it ends. Bummer. It is my favorite of the series though.

You're pretty good at taking pictures! I'm not sure whether I like researching more in Bioshock 1 or 2. Both are fun but in Bioshock 2 you can check your research progress from the menu which I absolutely love.
