I can fit 24 12 oz cans of beverages in my cockpit drawer fridge. It is bigger than it looks. Like any fridge it does take a while to chill them all. I know it is difficult to be intimately familiar with all boats but the 28 Express has dedicated storage for both the cabin table and cockpit table. Two storage areas and two tables. Nice review!

I have the same boat, and yes, you can fit 24 12 oz cans in it, but some may wander to the back of the drawer and create a bit of a jam. Easily managed. Over the long term, if should be defrosted on ocassion.

Hi. I have recently installed a Simarad NSS EVO3S and installed the Vessel View Link (Mercury 8M0110639) to access my engine info (2012 Optimax 250). I have everything setup and working correctly, however I can't find engine hours. I found your video that shows using the Mercury tab on the screen and going to the Maintenance page to see hours, but I can't find the Maintenance page. Any ideas how to add that screen or tell me if it is even possible? I have seen another thread where someone said it wasn't possible via NMEA2000. Thank you

It's unfortunate that the design of the "tuna door" is essentially useless as the door blocks most of the opening. Looks like more of a marketing checklist than a usable feature. Sea Hunt Gamefish 27 does their doors right, with a full usable opening. Tidewater should have just left the door out of the design of the boat to save cost, or simply do it right. This design choice would really bug me as it suggests a general lack of design/engineering and makes me wonder what else was poorly done.

Keen insight there. This was one of the first models they did a "tuna door" on. On other models they did just that and went back to engineering to make it more open as you're referring to. I'll have to wait till I get to see a 2023 model of the 272 CC Adventure to confirm that on that model though.

That's unfortunate you had a bad experience with the brand. Certainly not every brand is right for everyone though part of the enjoyment of your boat is to ensure you have a reputable dealer too.

When traveling to the lake do you leave it in the stow away position or take the back braces loose and lay it all the way down

Typically on short trips the stow away position with the bimini top boot on works but just be aware of the height if you have low branches on the drive. Never travel on the road with it open. If you're going on a longer trip some prefer to lay it down. If you do that, be sure to strap it down with some bungie straps or something similar. In addition, put something where the frame lays on the boat so it doesn't scratch the fiberglass or vinyl where the frame is laying.

Hi Duncan I bought a boat with the eyeholes for the bimini cover but no cover . It’s a gap of 20” between the eyeholes and it’s a 2000 bayliner capri can you advise me on what type of cover that is and the specs I would be very greatful 👍🏻

At its age, I would recommend an aftermarket bimini top. Your current mounting hardware should work fine. If you measure between the mounts (should be just behind the windshield) and the distance from the floor to the mounts, we can get you something that should work fine. Measure center of eye to center…for width of boat/ for top Then desire how much you want shaded from the windshield back and order accordingly…it’ll ask for a 3or 4 bow top Pretty sure the 4 bow top will automatically come with back braces then nylon straps for the front
