This is a staged race. All events in race where planned to entertain the large crowd on hand..

Crazy. Cut my teeth with the greatest riders that lived at Deerfield speedway. This was my home track on the AMA circuit 25 years ago. Where did the polish knob go? And the bowl? Too bad. Racing isn't nearly as fast / aggressive as it was back then either, or it dosent appear to be.
