I enjoy your play mobile reviews. As a kid I liked play mobile more than LEGO. But now I’m a total AFOL so I am a fan of your Jang Bricks channel. Anyway, it may be too late to comment but here’s my thoughts. What I liked about play mobile most (and think they still excel) is those small detail pieces. It’s what I enjoyed as a kid, but they were kind of a pain because they were easy to lose even if you were trying to be careful. I think the box pictures would be fine for showing us a picture perfect display. From your videos, I’m more interested in what you think about the sets as a whole, or maybe key little things that you find are a neat that the set included. Or even which ones look nice but aren’t very functional in terms of the plastic people being able to hold. Or even if it was just a weird or unnecessary item to include. That’s what I would like to hear/see from you. Doing all the “picture perfect” set up isn’t needed when you can show us the play mobile pictures. Of course, what would be cool is if you yourself had come up with a totally different take on how to display things or a humorous idea to give us alternative perspectives on the set-then I’d love a detailed view (e.g., instead of neatly lined up toys in the kid’s room of the house, instead show a typical messy kid’s room with toys strewn all the floor, drawers left half open, etc.) Honestly, I would really like to see a play mobile city like your LEGO city. Not necessarily on the same scale but just to see how it would look all put together. The other thing that I perked up at was when you said you still had more vintage sets to review. Yes, I would totally love to see those!

Neat setup! Looking for a Playmobil train myself, have a garden layout and I'd like to have something to put on for visitors who haven't got time to wait for my steam engines to be prepped and fired up.

Have you considered using Elmer's glue to keep all the little things in place? There's a clear kind that is washable. It might not affect the plastic toys, but you would want to test it first to make sure it doesn't damage any of the plastic or paint. I like this channel and your other channels. I hope to see more videos here soon.

Oh that’s lovely. I got really into playmobil at that age. I must still have some of the sets in the attic :)

I’m ok with the specifics and don’t mind if you don’t set all of it up. Would love more videos here if you happen to find the time.

I enjoy LEGO and Playmobil. They are both great at different things. I think it’s a difficult situation because I also enjoy watching both of your channels (JANGBRiCKS and JANGmobil) So I can appreciate how difficult it must be to fit it all in somehow. And yes setting playmobil up is fiddly but in my case it gives me something to do. And I personally like that aspect of it. But again I can appreciate that it’s frustrating for some people because of how long it can take and as mentioned how fiddly it can be. Please keep making content on this channel when and where possible because I’d be lost without it. Both channels are fantastic and I really enjoy your content. Keep up the superb work 👍

I want to know about the play quality of the sets, their main features good and bad. I am not so interested in perfect placement as I can see those in promo pics. Your reviews are the best on youtube and I was really sad to see you stopped uploading. Must check out your other chanel, though lego doesn't interest me like playmobil. Appreciate anything you put up here when you have time!

The space stuff is so cool! The first set I bought as a kid was the small space ship. The catalog video brought so many beautiful memories. Me and my brother grew up in the 80s and we owned a lot of the sets you showed in the catalog.

Reviewing illustrations that have already been provided by Play Mobil would be perfectly fine! The value of your videos are the reviews itself in my opinion! keep up the good work - big fan of JANGBricks as well :)

Thanks for the update!! I totally understand your points on the Playmobil sets. Having those little pieces avalanche onto the floor while you're trying to transport the set would be infuriating.

I think, you continuing with reviews here is good, however, watching your videos, i feel, that you are a MASTER at putting such a warm positive spin on any of the negatives you need to vent out, whatever you choose to do, Lego, playmobil, anything else. We the viewers will inevitably stay behind you, for the second time tonight, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! PS. hope this was at least a tiny bit helpful

I wouldn't get too annoyed with the small parts. You don't have to position everything like it is on the box, but the small parts are what make Playmobile what they are. In other words, don't be such a perfectionist on the positioning. Review the parts when you open the box for the videos, but then do the final set-up once you get them where you want them in the basement.

Hi Jang - I watch your videos because I enjoy sharing your experience when you've got your hands on "the stuff" ! Using photos as "visual aids" would be fine. For me, making a pretty picture isn't as important as sharing "on camera" time. - Regards, Allan (also a Lego fan)

Jang, come back! We don't care about "perfect" placement. That OCD issue is holding back your enjoyment (and ours)! Just have fun! And we will have fun with you. Let go, be a kid again.

Just one set review per week would be enough, not beeing as meticulous for the video quality as for the Lego channel, just doing what's needed to give your thought.

That’s what I dislike about Playmobil too, to an extent. It’s a pain to move stuff around and then set it all back up. Half the playtime is setting up. Same with barbies and things like that, that’s why it’s always better to sort of have a defined space for that stuff. I’d suggest setting up and reviewing when you debox and maybe you won’t think about it so much lol. We will pretty much just love seeing you talk about these things, so figure it out and do your thing and we’ll flock to it. ☺️

Do what you do best. I gave up in the LEGO world because I can’t compete against leaked image videos. Seems nobody cares about in hand reviews but that’s your trademark and you’ve always done that. Better to show real product than product images

I think that using small pieces of clay or Blu Tac to hold down accessories would work. You would only have to set everything up once and everything would stay in place :D

Hi, Jang, I used to play with playmobil at lot and loved to play with it. I fully respect how annoying and hard it is to set up all the tiny little details, all the accessories and tools, etc and that's one thing that has also annoyed me about playmobil. Even with small hands, I found I was always knocking ,what I had just set up, over and having to start again. It requires a lot of time and attention to set up all the small details , in playmobil. So I would fully respect you, if you didn't set up all the small details and just show then separately, and show us , how it would look , from pictures on the box. I fully understand , your announce with setting up playmobil. What ever you choose , I am sure, I and everyone else who watches this channel, will respect what you choose to do. Keep up the good work on this channel!

I think it would be perfectly fine if you just showed the build and the extras off to the side, and then used the instruction booklet's parts list to talk about them! I'm just so glad the channel isn't dead :)
@guleri6 жыл бұрын
To me it would be perfectly ok if you group things together just showing them off, it doesn't need to be so neat. Or just show the small pieces by showing off the back of the box. You could always do like you do with your Lego channel and make a review video, and then show us later how it looks when you have it set up in your display area. It is the general review that is fun, and what you feel about the sets.
