I legit am so happy to discover you! I did a “grief chop” last Spring & my hair is regrowing NICELY using protective styles. However, I have low-density, HIGH porosity hair, 3C/4A with a *splash* of 3B in the top middle of my head. Our hair is similar, so I will continue to follow as mine grows! Yayyyy, community!

I have 3c hair and this is four 4c and it’s amazing. You’re right you cannot mix it with other products or it just comes out all bad lol. I do add oils and a leave in with it though and it’s fine. Thank you for reviewing this product. Instead of redoing it every morning pair it with their refresher curl spray BUT oddly enough it then acts as a activator(jerry curl activator gold bottle) and will not dry still love the product though lol

Have you heard of or had any experience with coffee oil? Rumor has it that it increases the diameter of hair strands and increases rate of hair growth (im skeptical about increased rate of hair growth though)

I used it with my short hair; for finger coils. With short, curls are beautiful. I have now medium hair, and if I defining with that gel, I lost definition at second day.
