Vybar doesn’t directly enhance hot or cold throw. Instead, it helps the wax absorb more fragrance oil, which is its primary purpose. For 100% natural waxes, citric acid can be used to achieve a similar effect, though it’s not as effective. Vybar should only be used with paraffin waxes or paraffin-soy blends.

how different is the formulas for silicone molds and not in jars?
@EclipseBotanica12 күн бұрын
The formulas will stay the same across the board unless you want to use more fragrance oil for different products 😊

I’d wrap the skulls first, then package. I think you’d have an easier time, but I’m not the one doing it, so I dunno. It just looks hard wrap inside. The black is definitely better than pink. Buy I’m a big fan of purple. ❤

It shouldn’t, it also depends on how bad your candle has already started tunneling.

If you're going to make candles, then you will have the breathe in their aroma a lot... As far as I know, fragrance oil is harmful to breathe in... Wouldn't it be better to educate your customers about this and use less strong but more healthy essential oils in candle making? For the sake of your own health and the health of your customers?
@EclipseBotanica27 күн бұрын
This is an excellent question. When I first started my journey learning to make candles, I wanted everything to be natural, organic, and recycled. Unfortunately, when I experimented with essential oils, I learned that in order to get ANY kind of cold or hot throw, you’d have to use so much essential oil that the candle itself would become a fire hazard as the oils would easily catch fire. It is a major safety hazard, which was extremely disappointing to me when I was testing with oils and waxes😔

When you have the two different waxes and they each have to be a different level of heat, do you go by the lowest, or the highest for the wax to be ready to pour? Great tutorial, btw. First time on here. ❤
@EclipseBotanicaАй бұрын
I would suggest something in the middle, but you can always try out both and label them each which temp you went to 👍
@melstein5078Ай бұрын
Do you use fragrance oils or essential oils?
@EclipseBotanicaАй бұрын
Fragrance oils. I wanted to use essential oils but they aren’t strong enough, you’d have to use so much that the candle would catch fire 🔥☹️

I've been looking at candle making, in recent days, since I got Jesmonite about a month ago I came to the realisation of instead of just making candle holders with jesmonite I can also make candles directly into the holders etc, I'm considering doing soap too for soap holders I'm considering making too...
@EclipseBotanicaАй бұрын
That's so cool! I've never heard of Jesmonite but I am intrigued.
