I own a 72 bug and I too pat it when i walk past it on the drive and it's something I can't help do because it's such a wonderful car, I drive a modern car then get in Betsy, my bug and I have a smile all the time I'm driving her 😎

That movie (the original that is, not all the endless sequels) was my favorite movie when I was a kid. I was about maybe 5 or so when it was released. (Do the math.)
